You already know you need to eat clean for life. Part II is pumping iron. Pick and workout, any working for bulking, and get busy. There is no secret beyond knowing how to manage insulin.

I think the key is to not expect quick or drastic changes. Meaning: don’t try to eat like a horse and “bulk up” or you’ll gain too much fat in the process.
Ideally, you’ll want a “slow and steady” approach so you can minimize fat gain while increasing LBM. However, most people don’t want slow and steady gains. They want to see it right away, and they go all out with training and nutrition to put on 10-15lbs (or more) in a few weeks or months.
Eating very clean and slowly increasing calories will be the best route, along with some good weight training and of course, adequate cardio/HIIT/GPP.
good advice, thank you both
I have an article coming out in the future that deals with former fattie issues. It’ll offer a few tips on mass gains for the adiposilly challenged. Stay tuned.
sweet can’t wait for to read that, because right now i’m doing the v-diet because of a very wild winter bulker…

Hey I resemble that statement.
Great to hear Chris should be a great article.
I agree with the above you have to be a bit more strict and slow with your diet and progress. Find a good Carb level and total K/Cal level for you. I find eating big and carb early and tapering down late really helps.
Also I find a bit more cardio as well. The whole eat and dont move just doesnt go for FFB. Im not talking running and such. Just being active lots of walks etc low intensity stuff that will keep the fat at bay a bit.
Hope that helps,
Phill
