Bulking Diet for Ultra Fast Metabolism

This looks like a poorly constructed cut plan.

Strongly reccomend a book called Scrawny To Brawny.

My nutrition plan for 187lbs:

B-fast:
4 Eggs
100g Chicken
100g Cheddar Cheese
3g Fish Oil

Snack:
60g Nuts
30g Protein

Meal 2:
8oz Chicken
3 Eggs
3g Fish Oil

Snack:
60g Nuts
30g Protein

Dinner: (Post Workout)
8oz Red Meat
3 Eggs
3g Fish Oil

Pre Bed:
60g Nuts
1 Tub Cottage Cheese

360/370g protein, 190g fats and 27g Carbs

Why so low on the carbs?

Why not :stuck_out_tongue:

Though on the Sunday after my 6 Day Gym session (sigh) i do have some crappy carbs !

Don’t ask me about anything training/nutrition related i only been training for er 2 weeks now, all my info has come from Modok and Cephalic was reccomended to do:

2g/lb bodymass Protein
1g/lb bodymass good fats (reminds me i need to get coconut oil!)
And keep carbs low

Not to completely hijack but i had worse carb days than hawaii lol i used JUST eat carbs before i came here so im not missing them very much !

Low carbs while bulking doesnt make a whole wack of sense. If it wasnt for carbs I probably would never grow… I’m getting about 6-700g carbs and about 300g protein a day, gaining about a lb or so a week. Couldn’t imagine trying to bulk sans carbs.

What you wrote has DEFINITELY more than 27g of carbs. The nuts alone are at least about 40g.
I suggest you ACTUALLY take down the nutritional info of what you eat, and enter it PROPERLY into FitDay. Just speaking from experience.

you’re an idiot

To the op

  1. Add red meat

  2. Shake of Olive oil + natural pb + protein scoop as a snack = win

  3. Add some dextrose to your post workout shake

  4. Your late night snack should consists of proteins + good fats (add the fruit + 1 bagel to your morning meal)

  5. Since you cant really have any protein shakes, you should buy some egg whites

  6. Oatmeal would serve you right

  7. Almonds/walnuts/pecans as a snack

  8. When ppl say a “HUGE” amount of something, its usually not so HUGE… I’d recommend really measuring

  9. You didnt mention but the bagels shouldnt be made out of white bread
10)Try to add sweet potatos or half a cup of brown rice to your diner

  10. FOR ABOUT 3-4 DAYS NOTE EVERYTHING YOU EAT AND I MEAN EVERYTHING AND THAN CALCULATE HOW MUCH EACH FOODS ARE WORTH IN TERMS OF PROTEINS/CARBS/FATS, THAN, CALCULATE YOU’RE TOTAL PROTEINS/CARBS/FATS FOR THIS DAY AND THE CALORIES YOU REACHED. BY DOING THIS SEVERAL TIMES YOU WILL GET ACCUSTOMED TO HOW MUCH YOU NEED TO EAT, WHAT YOU LACK, WHAT YOU ARE GETTING TOO MUCH OF

Good Luck

Also, read these… John Berardi’s massive eating

Nuts primary nutriment = fats
usually followed by proteines

50g almonds : 25g fats, 11g proteines, 10g carbs

Right. I know that primary nutrient in nuts is fats. How does that change the fact that they also have carbs? 180g almonds= 35g carbs
Plus some more carbs from eggs. (0.6 per egg I believe)
Pretty sure cottage cheese has some carbs too. 6g per cup I believe.

My point was that he underestimates how many carbs he ingests. Just wanted to make sure he’s aware of that so he doesn’t fuck up somewhere along the way.
In no way am I saying that nuts are a bad choice or anything in that matter

That’s alright. It happens. I just thought I’m missing something

thanks zraw i’ve been reading a lot in the bulking thread in the beginners section. Also your advice has seemed the most helpful with when to eat things. Hopefully i can report in a few weeks that i’ve added some solid pounds
