Would you recommend a cut or bulk?
I have hit that at 170-175 lbs and did not considered myself cut at that weight. Was not fat either but not cut. Somewhere between 13-15% bodyfat I would say. So lose fat please and stop thinking about bulking.
Resolve your back issue, start doing some conditioning, prioritize protein and eat better, lift heavy and put more intensity in your training.
You mentionned lifting for 5 years but you can still be a beginner and need to listen to all the good advice here.
Starting strength got me strong in my early years but also got me fat. See the trend. You want to be strong and lean so do something else.
Gotta be a troll at this point. I mean, you’re as hairy as one.
I’m autistic a little sorry
When u say lose fat, u mean cut or like recomp?
I mean lose fat. I could not care less about how you want to categorize it. I chose my words purposefully.
Stop thinking about “cut”, “bulk” or “recomp”. Start thinking about changing your habits slowly.
You mentionned you are autistic so if changes are hard for you, do one thing at a time. Start by fixing your back issues if you want to squat, deadlift and press heavy. It is the priority number 1. Then, you want to be lean so change your dietary habits to melt some fat and support muscle. Putting some intensity in your training and doing some conditioning will help leaning too.
Bro…
I’m going to rescind this offer.
You don’t want help, you want someone to green light your plan.
Good luck man, I’m out.
I’m autistic. I have trouble understanding instructions so I asked for clarification, sorry. I would love your coaching, Im done asking for help. I have a plan I have created and gonna stick to it.
I’m autistic
This is a bullshit excuse.
Diabetics bitch and moan about how much harder it is for them to lose weight.
While it’s true they will have a harder time, it changes nothing… if they want to lose the weight, they just have to work harder at it.
Stop hiding behind your diagnosis as if it absolves you of the hard work you must do to accomplish your goals.
I have a plan I have created and gonna stick to it.
I want to believe in you. Give me a reason to.
You think continuing a bulk is a bad idea?
yes
in order to hit my goals of 405 for 5 deadlift 225x5 bench ohp 155x5 315 squat for 5
getting stronger does not require weight gain. it requires practicing a set of movements while adding weight to the bar over time.
getting bigger requires weight gain.
Im gonna start a log and keep you updated. Will not say anything to you, just focusing on losing weight and getting stronger. Once I get to the 160-165lb make hopefully lean and strong, im gonna come back here.
Resolve your back issue,
This is important. See someone who can pinpoint why you are having pain. As someone typed: don’t do the things that make it hurt.
Cut or bulk? Just lift.
This is important.
I would say “third”, but I brought it up early and was ignored.
Like, seriously, if I had spent the time at age 21 learning how to brace and hinge, I’d be SO far ahead.
I’ll update everyone

However, I can venture a guess as to who/what it’s all about. Talk about majoring in the minors. Mired in minutiae.
This is another guy that seems likely to jump on steroids just because he hasn’t gotten his dream body fast enough
Probably because he didn’t like the answers he received. I think the same has happened with @TheNotBigOne
What happened to UG? Or does anyone know?
Owner has been MIA for years.
Most of us suspected that Send0 (mod) had taken ownership of the forum and honestly he’s got some mental shit that makes that very bad for the forum… Perma banning good knowledgeable members is never a good thing.
I’d be betting that profits werent enough for owner/send0 to keep the doors open, or payment just lapsed on the domain. Either way, it went from my most used forum to my least used forum in about a 2 year timespan.
I use anabolicsteroidforums now for gear talk. Same handle there.
