Builder's Competition Quest

As promised, post re-feed photos:
MM

abdominal thigh variation

front lat, not leaning back so much

Another MM, just because.

Good work man. Top half is very impressive. Lower half def your weak pint( as with me ha). No worries though just gotta get s shredded as you can at this point. Try to get those quarter turns and all the other mandatories up if you can ( front double bi, rear double bi, side tri, side chest, etc.) Front lat spread looks much better. Youll get some good posing tips from some of the guys here once you throw all the mandatories up.

Thanks, I will do my best tomorrow to post at least one of each mandatory. I could definitely use some advice/criticism at this point.

Update:
So I work night shift tonight and I have scheduled in a deep tissue massage for tomorrow morning. It will be my first ever and I am pretty excited about it. So excited in fact that I felt the need to share it with all of T-Nation! haha, On another note my morning weight has been sticking around 177 so I cant wait for that to drop again…
I will be working chest here in a bit then will be posting 1 of each of the compulsory poses for critiquing purposes.

As Maiden said, good idea to get all the mandatories up, even a video of you going through them works really well IMO.

Front lat spread looks much better now that you are not leaning back.

Delts are definitely a strong point for you, but they almost take away from your traps, not sure if there is anything you can do about that, but something to be aware of when you are practicing posing.

Here they are as promised:

I will try and get a video up soon. I may change my most muscular pose if it looks too unbalanced because of my delts. Thank you for the feedback, it is much appreciated!

you need to work on rear poses the most

the back lat spread and back dbl bicep definitely could be improved. try leaning back into the lat spread a lot more- i dont really like the whole crunching foreward thing you’re doing right now

on the back double dont look downwards like that- also id consider leaning back into this one more—as you hit it, exhale all your air out and should show off a little more detail…to me that is the most brutal pose to hold

you need to lean back into the rear relaxed as well IMO

You have a tendency to lean to one side in some of you front and back poses.

Thanks for the feedback, it is much appreciated. I will implement these changes and try to keep posting more poses.

I will definitely keep this in mind for future posing. I think I tend to take a staggered stance even during “straight on” poses and this may cause the problem.

To go along with what grind said, I think you can try to point the inside of your elbows towards the sky more on the rear double bi to help show more bicep peak as well as flare your lats a bit more.

I am with Grinds feedback and was going to add this until Maiden beat me to it. I would also add that if you bring the forearm more toward the head it could help as well. If nothing else, it will reduce all of the open space created by your current double bicep pose.

Also, I think your second side relaxed is better where you open up a bit more and bring the arm facing the judges back.

Remember it is all about illusions, on that note, roll the shoulder back a bit more on the side chest pose thus opening the chest and making yourself appear wider.

Thanks guys! I am working legs here soon, just downed my pre workout, so I will try to make some adjustments and get some more shots up. I had my massage this morning so not sure how posing is going to turn out but I will make an attempt anyway.

Here are some pics from today.
