Sort of a late session tonight, but I wanted to hit legs before heading to the airport first thing in the morning. For those of you that don’t know, I’m spending the weekend in Tennessee at Waylander’s stomping grounds with HolyMac, DohCrazy, Way obvi, Carlthescorp, and a slew of other old t-nat kiddos from the BOI. Will be a swell weekend. Obvi there will be pics/vids.

Warmup

Leg press – feet high and wide and pointed out. True 3-4 sec negatives, deeeep stretch, explode. Pretty much waiting to squat, but this turned into its own thing.

Squats – KAI GREEN style. Shoes on, feet about shoulder width, toes out. Felt pretty good actually, quads were just too fatigued to go heavy at the end.

Leg extensions – love this goddamned thing.
4 sets of 15, 15, 12, 12. Good-ass squeezes. Stretch.

Back extensions, then 3 sets of weighted ab raises. Booms.

Strong leg session…425 squats after leg press is sick.

Shit’s been cray since I’ve been back in Boston. Yesterday there were some electrical fires downtown where I work, and power has been out ever since. Didn’t go to work today… that was cool. Lazied around until I decided to go to the gym (first time since saturday’s hangover session with the BOIs). Nothing special, but by the end I was feeling good.

Warmup

Mid-level face-pull style rows – basically facepulls but not to the face (to the chest). Way showed me. I liked.
4 sets to warm up shoulder girdle and get blood into rear delts.

Neutral grip pullups – they didn’t have a belt, so I just used a DB between my feet. Kinda awk since it hit the ground each time if I didn’t hold my feet out in front of me, so I couldn’t completely focus on flaring and contracting lats.

Deadlifts – felt really bad. Lower back was tight, horrible bar, hex plates, etc. Quit at last warmup.

Barbell shrugs – haven’t done them in awhile, and I need to. Need to get used to shrugging and holding heavy weight. I’m a vag now on these.
