Bug: Luvin U

In general, diet has been semi-shitty since I’ve started working. I’m good about eating clean when it’s not in front of me, but being in this new environment, someone is ALWAYS bringing cookies, candy, chocolates, etc, people always want me to go to lunch with them (because I’m so cool), so temptations are there. I warned my “inner circle” of my upcoming diet so they know the drill. This week has been like RFL Lite: small, low-to-no carb lunches, some carbs pre-WO, then a hefty meal post. Nothing fancy. Chicken, turkey, or tuna are usually my lunch protein sources, PWO is those or beef. Rice or ezekiel break post as well. I eat Greek yogurt too when I feel like it.

Next week will be legit RFL. Last time I tried was right before moving here and only did it a week before it got thrown off, but saw visible changes in that week, so I’m excited to give it a full run of potentially 4 total weeks.

Sounds good man, Im looking forward to seeing some pics, ive been eating a bit less too and going to go hard for the next 3 weeks because i have a wedding end of jan i wanna look HAWT for lol.

The forearm pump thing is weird, but 115sx10 on incline is solid!

Yeah, it is weird. I didn’t do anything weird r strain my grip/forearms too much yesterday. Oh well, it happens. Silly forearms.

115s for 10 is weaksauce lol. On a regular day I think I’m good for 125s x 12~ currently. idk

I’ve been looking more into RFL for when I want to do a mini-diet. Seems appealing.

Good work on getting that diet locked down. I really hope I can make huge strides towards “being bug” in the next 6-12 months <3

Lying leg curls w/ TRUE 3 sec negatives – the bomb

Back squats – took my time with these. Something’s feeling off with squats lately.

One-legged leg press – no rest

Deficit SLDLs – standing on a tall as eff box. Just about touched my feet with the bar each rep. Slow negs, forceful squeezes at the top

Leg extensions - kinda half-assed. Don’t like their leg ext. machine at all.

Hyper extensions (glute squeeze) / Seated calf raises - 4 sets.

Cool down. Not bad all in all. Heading to NYC tomorrow after lunch for the long weekend. Hopefully it’s a good one. Should get in a delts + arms session on Saturday before raging. woot woot.

BUG: I’ve had the same problem re forearms (feel free to to insert masturbation joke). BBB recommended a foam rolling technique which help me immensely, I basically has RSI from all of the gripping of weights since I’ve never used straps; it happened when I was on 5/3/1 since I was DLing every week without straps, doing hanging leg raises and loads of dumbbell work on top of my job as an electrician, thats all I could attribute it to.

I’ll try and explain it as I can’t find a video on youtube: stand sideways and lean into the wall with a foam roller against your forearm so your body weight is pushing the foam roller into your forearm which is braced against the wall. You may want/need to stand on your toes then bend your knees as you go lower so you can massage the entire forearm and hit the aching tissue. Then, whilst your doing this start opening and closing your fist whilst moving your wrist as if you were doing wrist curls. I hope this makes sense. Another exercise is working the extensors (the muscles which open the hand) by opening the hand against resistance.
