so I’m thinking to give my tris a little more of a break between CG pressing on saturday and benching on monday, I’m gonna switch Back and Bicep day back to Monday. this will also not make me rack pull/heavy back work then squat the very next day. I think this is a good decision. Will be hittin up dat BACK later tonight.

Friday/Saturday/Sunday I started tightening up quite a bit. Love VCO and other staples of the MDD. Binge ate like a motherfucker yesterday, and still don’t look too horrible today (new avi is from about an hour ago).

Wow - delts are really poppin’ and arms look really thick. Being lean really lets it all show - great job Bug. Real impressive…

How’d you do the pulldowns? Meadows style with a lat contraction first, or just like regular pulldowns?

Uhhh I don’t remember if I watched how Meadows did them. I kept a semi-supinated grip, got a hard contraction, held, then only went part of the way up before explosively contracting again.

Actually, I don’t really know if you can call it the Meadows version. I saw Shelby Starnes doing them this way and I figured he got them from Meadows.

He said that he contracts his lat first and then pulls down with his elbow and then really squeezes at the bottom. It’s a way different feel than regular pulldowns.

But yeah, the way you describe them sounds a lot like the way Meadows does them in this video
