RDB pose needs more clenched glutes. Should be able to see it through the pants. Mirin’ regardless.

PS: Nice work Bug, so when are you going to do your first meet?[/quote]
LOL
I pull conventional for the most part.
If you are weak off the floor, as you indicated, start hammering away at deficit pulls and close stance high rep leg press, both of which has helped my speed off the floor.

Would you mind elaborating on this?

Personally, I prefer front squats over the leg press for being weak off the floor.
ink - Ha! Maybe in 2012 I’ll consider doing a meet. We’ll see how things go.
Masch - why thank you dear! Greg is the ultimate He-Man PLBB’er, so I have no advice that could possible help him. The pants I’m wearing in the photos were bespoke, however. Also, that’s not my room, ha, that’s like an “extra” living room used as storage (long story), but I’m in the process of moving so I’m constantly throwing things around. If you were coming over I would have it cleaned don’t worry!
pb - sorry dawg, no my fault ur a dirty little cheater. Prob couldn’t even pull 135 conventional!
DaChampers - yeah, whoops. no homo. good looking out.
Dixie - yeah… I’ve actually, uh, never done deficit work, haha. I’ll give those leg presses a try too. Thanks boss!
Cruz - so you can make me look even more pathetic? yarite.
Dashiedoo - <3
Finished the bag of reeses cups… ololol. And bought 4 more shirts, woot.

More than 15 reps per set, each rep difficult, feet in the same stance as when you pull. I just noticed that when I did leg press with high reps, my drive off the floor got better as my quads got stronger.
As to using front squat rather than leg press, that would definitely work, prob even better, but for a while now I have not done front squats, just started doin em again, so I dont know.
I’m stunned that you seem to be taking what I said seriously. Feeling a bit ghey now. Also in regard to texting, please respond.
Oh shi… neverthought I’d see business attire bug. Smart-looking mofo w/great back thickness. Congrats on your coming success.
I got my first real job (part-time) at the age of 20 just over a week back… the time had to come to earn the dollar(/british pounds) to finally start paying for my weekly food rather then just adding it to the increasing overdraft in my account. Looking forward to being far less broke. Good times
Hanging out with the rents tonight, so just gonna jot down the workout. I was feeling really run down even after a thorough warmup and just couldn’t get into the workout really. Surprisingly, after some really shitty warm up sets on bench, I somehow busted out an awesome top set.
The benches at this Gold’s are better than my school gym because they are quite solid and robust, but the hooks are slanted downwards so the bar rolls away from the hooks, and the actual hook is very high and thick (lol), making it difficult to unrack. I got the biggest dude to unrack on the top set, and he jerked it too hard, clipped the hooks, and I got off too a shaky start. He was apologetic after, lol.
15 min dynamic warmup.
275 x 3, 245 x 5 - these were heavy, I was already tired lol.
Did some HS Decline, after the 3rd set I felt so bleh I stopped.
Machine chest flies
4 sets, squeezed, slow neg. Nice pump.
Close grip off pins (2" off chest)
135 x 3
185 x 3
225 x 3
275 x 3 - meh
– (switch to regular CGBP)
185 x 14ish drop 135 x some
Pressdowns / OH rope ext. SS
4 supersets, nice pump.
Cordova extensions
3 sets, nonstop.
One set EZ overhead ext. as a finisher. Tri stretch and fin. Got some good food in tonight, and should get some sleep, so I’ll be fine. Strange day!

Nice pressing dude, and those back shots were pretty impressive aswell!
Looking good Bug. Wow so much has been happening.
After a couple months/year consider getting shirts/suits tailor made (after you settle in). Makes a huge impression in how you look and feel when you present yourself. It does help you’ve got the physique, the smarts and the looks too of course haha.
Jake - much appreciated sir, and congrats on your job as well! Having money may not be everyyyything, but it sure makes doing the things you love that much easier. Cheers to OUR coming success.
Black - ha, I’m just trying to get back up to my old strength levels, and then maybe one day catch up to the big guys like you! Looking forward to seeing you lean up.
XB - I have a suit and one white dress shirt that I had tailor made when I was visiting Hong Kong last year. I was much fatter at the time, and had it brought it somewhat recently, and it fits awesome. Love it. Appearances mean a lot in business and in life, so I am definitely cognizant of what you’re saying.
Depending how I feel, I’m gonna do a quad/calf day, or just do calves and abs. Prob the former.

after you hit him, you mean. LOL
Killer session dude, you’re almost as strong as you are good looking ![]()
Bug,
You look quite dapper in your “Buisness Casual Bug” look.
Your back looks off the charts redic in that Lat spread. NOM NOM NOM (no homo)
I know a thing or two abutter men’s fashion scene (again no homo) Nordstroms is the shit cause they take back anything. So if you don’t like it, no problem. A good look (IMO) would be that look with a thin (not quite skinny) tie that’s plaid/checkered. Not a lot of color but just enough of a pattern to grab some attention… You’ll be lookin classy as a mofo and ripe for a sexual harassment suit lol
inkster2k11 - LOL, thanks man. Maybe once I’m a fat powerlifter I’ll be as able to develop a true power belly and blow past old PRs! haha.

Bug,
Thanks holmes. I learn from the best (read: you).
Ha, thanks man. Good posing helps a lot in this regard! Those love handles just start getting so wide so fast as I get softer, so I really gotta keep that diet in check.
Dude, I LOVE Nords. Those house brand, wrinkle-free shirts are great. I love the cut/fit, and the material is so nice for the price. Good call on the tie. As long as you’re not embarrassed to hang out with me…
Kinda weaksauce quads day. Feeling a little sluggish going in, plus my back/hams/chest/biceps/triceps are ALL painfully sore. Spent a good 25 minutes getting warmed up and still couldn’t shake off the tightness, lol. Was kinda playing it by ear, but ended up doing some decent work and I’m not too unhappy given what I was working with. ![]()
