Man, did those Arnold style laterals where you go all the way over you head in a superset with front raises and band pulls last night. Never had a shoulder pump like that before. My arms were literally slowly floating away from my sides.

visited my bud for labor day weekend. got wasted Sun and Monday night. was amazin. Crazy stories I best not share on a public forum, just in case, lol.

I got in some back training yesterday. Was decent, except I couldn’t get the correct rack pull height without standing on plates and it just felt very off. My lower back is tender today, which doesn’t usually happen. FML.

Started with 3 sets of stretchers.

3 sets of 10 neutral grip pullups.

HS high row - hadn’t used HS machines in awhile. felt dece
1pps x 12 LR
2pps x 12 LR
3pps x 10 LR
4pps x 10 LR

Rack pulls a few inches below knee - rough 5/3/1’ing, but just didn’t like the set up so just did the prescribed reps.
“work sets”: 365x5, 425x5, 495x5. Was supposed to be 480 but that seemed like a hassle, lol.

kayak rows / underhand cable ez rows superset. like 4 times.

some rear delts.

EZ drag curls
4 sets of 10

rope hammer curls.
some.

hungover today, drove home, working tonight, postponing bench for tomorrow.

Good one on putting in the work in a less-then-ideal state. I failed at my leg session today completely after 2 days which messed me up physically, so you have one up on me fo’ sho’. Back to killing it tomorrow with you <3

Well, my performance was pretty good despite feeling subpar.

Bench press - tried diff foot placement today, much wider with heels down. Felt much more stable, I liked it a lot

135 x 5, 5
185 x 3, 3
— work sets, 3 week
225 x 3 - 70%. Supposed to be 220 but whatevs
250 x 3 - 80%. Felt strong but a tad slow. Ppl talking to me midset..
285 x 7 - 90%. This was my goal, and I rocked it. 1 grinder left in the tank.

Incline DB press - time crunch for rest of session
70s x 10
85s x 10
100s x 14 - +2 from last week. Another 1-2 ez ones left in tank. Wanna use 110s next week but the PL room is closed off. Might grab them early and tell them I’ll take em back later.

135 x 10 paused
185 x 10 slow negative

Cable crossovers
3 sets for the pump!!!

Rope pressdowns
3 sets, the cable station I was on sucked dick though.

Meadows slight incline smith CGskull hybrid
95 x 16
135 x 15
175 x 14 drop 135 x 10

Had to bounce. Pretty happy with how it went. 300 is my top set next week for bench. If I dont get at least 5 someone will die.

Just get someone in the gym to twist your nipples as hard as they can right before you lift the bar, I’m sure you’ll get it then.
