Blaze, appreciate it dude. Weights are getting decent again on some things, but still quite a ways off from where I think I should be, especially on pressing. I’m confident that things will start clicking into place in due time.

Wall sit holding a 45lbs plate in lap…
3 sets for time, first was 60 seconds, second prob 55, third maybe 45-50s. This sucked a lot too.
Leg extensions
100lbs x 18, 15, 12 - killin da quadz.
Back extensions - done with a very pronounced glute/ham squeeze at the top of the movement. this shit HURT.

3 sets - concentric with 2 legs, then lower on 1 leg. 10 reps per leg. (3 of those). Crazy pump/lactic acid burn.
Weighted sit ups, weighted leg raises, and 2 sets of rope crunches for da abz.

RE: Your close grips not feeling right. It looks like your wrists are cocked back. Even with the thumbless grip, this can cause the weight of the bar to drift back over the center of your forearms. I would either go back to a normal grip, or try to rotate your hands some so you can get your your forearms under the bar better.

When i was around 230lbs, I think my best close grip was 315 for 7 reps. Would love 4-5 reps with that weight within the next couple months.
