Buck The System: Glycogen Levels

After many trial and error experiments I have come to one conclusion regarding performance. Higher Glycogen levels dont necessarily elicit greater performance.

It appears there are pools of glycogen that get harder and harder to deplete , what I have found is that it is ideal to have enough but not stuffed full and then train your body to spare those stores.

I find when I douse my body with hi glycemic carbs IE Surge, and fast proteins, It does a few things I dont like.

Keep me from sparing my glycogen, I find the body rips through my reserves faster, thus actually burning me out quicker,

Hit the wall drink it during a sport and within 30 min you blood sugar will hit the bottom and your eyes will be crossed.

I think that high insulin levels decrease FFA release , lower oxygen transfer, and make the body inable to burn anything but lots of glycogen.

Not to mention it relaxes my nervous system to much prior to training. Kind of sleepy and strong.

im not set on this pre work out recommendation.

Try a steak, lentils, green tea, and tons of aminos and see the difference in insenity.
