BTS: Tim Patterson Speaks

Dear T-Nation Admin,

I was not sure where to post my request. So I chose here. I would like to see a spread sheet type format of all Biotest supplements giving the info of what not to take together or what time frame to wait and why. I find it tedious to look thru 20 pages of each supplement forum to locate this type of information.I have found some contridications of previous information. PLEASE!!!

Not T-Nation administration (Give me a job damnit!) but I will try to help.

The not mixing is fairly simple here:

Try not to mix Spike, HOT-ROX, and Carbolin 19. Although I am fairly certain people have ignored this rule, but it’s not recommended.

Cy has said if you are going to take Spike and Carbolin 19 together, try to split it up so one is in the am, and the other is in the pm so there is time between taking these two supplements.

I don’t think there is anything else to worry about involving Biotest supplement interactions with other Biotest products.

Its past 8 weeks. When will the new EFA/Fish Oil supp come out? I’m dying for one!

ditto on the USPS… come on guys, please at least an update?

one more ditto on the UPS shipping option.

I have done 2 big orders with SND since the shipping option was discussed. Those would have been Biotest direct orders if the shipping option was setup.

I am also waiting for the USPS option. I’m planning on ordering 6 tubs of Surge and I don’t want to pay $45 each to Canadian suppliers.

I am placing another order with SND tonight, wish it was with Biotest but no UPS yet.

I still pray it will get done soon.

Be Safe

It’s not going to be with UPS. It’s going to be with USPS.

I too await the US postal option for shipments to Hawaii.

hmmmm i am thinking about using Biotest no I know i’m going to use it for this new program centered around high frequency articles that i have been reading here…the only question was whether I order my first Biotest supplements here and wait for it to come or just run down to Gnc and get them. After reading this article I will buy my supplements here and if its good as advertise will continue to do so…

Biotest HANG IN THERE!

I think this approach is the future of marketing and products. At least I hope so. Good science, good products, honest opinions of real users, valuable information, simplicity of delivery/ordering and no middle man.

I am blessed with a body that immediately knows if a product is working or not, and I think Biotest products - well the two I have tried - are truly excellent. I have only tried HOT-ROX and Metabloic Drive and they are both truly excellent. Anyone who hasn’t Biotest products is missing out. Anyone who reads this site and STILL hasn’t tried their products, really needs to have their head examined. I have every intention of trying all your products eventually. I wish this quality was around 20 years ago.

I want to see Metabloic Drive bars in SCHOOLS. Maybe you guys should target the parent market … surely every dad wants his kid to have the best quality Metabloic Drive bar to get stronger. It should be legislated.

I found this article extremely interesting, especially the bit about the readership of this site, and the fact that not that many registered here also order from here. (I don’t but I am in Australia and order from Australia). To me that is plain crazy.

Perhaps the HOT-ROX late night TV mareting aimed at the ordinary folk might work. I don’t know. The product is good. Most of those products are not good on late night TV so maybe that is a disadvantage?

You people who complain about the products being too expensive, SHAME ON YOU.

On this site it is $26 for Metabolic Drive. In my country it is $56 for Metabolic Drive. So I have to pay 210% what you have to pay. So stop complaining. (and recommended retail in Australia is $75 … and these are all prices in US dollars).

Anyway … keep up the good work Biotest. I would not have heard of this site if it weren’t for IronWoody and his Power bands on eBay. I’d heard of T-Nation years ago when it was starting out, but forgot about it. If I had not been on eBay looking for power bands I would not have discovered TNation, not have heard of Biotest supplements and would not have known how good they are. So anyone reading this site who has not tried them is nuts.

no international shipping yet…sad…I just put another $300+ or in with SND Canada.

since the talk of international shipping I have roughly order about $700 from SND. Not huge, but if there were say 50 other Canadians who ordered only half that amount it would still add up to $17,500. Not bad money for a few months. An I bet I am low balling the number of Canadians who would be ordering.

Just hopeful push to get the ball rolling.

I’ve been buying Biotest products since you guys started selling them, and one HUGE thing you forgot to brag about, Tim, is the FACT that Biotest has “THE” BEST SERVICE IN THIS or ANY INDUSTRY…PERIOD!!! You e-mail an order…go home…and presto…there it is…

Yeah, that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but not much of one. No body…but nooooo-body has better service…which is sooooooo unusual in today’s market place… Superior products, superior service…Oooh-Rah!

speaking about support… is the international issue handled yet :)?
i’d like to replace my fish oil with Flameout, yet i can’t find a distributor over here… and by the way, paying an equivalent of about 40$ per bottle of simple ZMA isn’t really what i am looking for :frowning:

I don’t want to root for St. Pierre, I am a big Matt Hughes fan. Tim why would you put me in this position?? It is a moot point anyway since Royce Gracie is going to beat Hughes first.

I’ve been going to GNC and Vitamin Shoppe for a couple years now, but after purchasing a couple products from T-Nation (Surge, Carbolin 19) and reading Tim’s article, I’m switching to T-Nation.

Thanks Tim.

Great article. I was a Biotest skeptic until I tried some Spike and HOT-ROX I bought from GNC. Amazing products. For once I could feel tangible results from the supplements, not just the same old, “I take this because you’re supposed to.” I’m ordering T-Nation for good.

The funny thing is, that’s true! Perhaps I shouldn’t be ordering Biotest products while I’m at work, but oh well.

Ditto. Tim, great job. Thanks for all that you do!

And to the poster who mentioned Metabolic Drive bars in school? My first reaction is: great idea! Be a nice alternative to what they’ve got now. I kinda doubt it’s practical, but it’d still be nice to see.

A bit late to the party, but I wanted to add my thanks for the information. I use Metabolic Drive (well, I’m on my last tub of Grow! now) and HOT-ROX regularly, and just got a bottle of Flameout for when I finish my current fish and flax oil supps.

I’ve tried Carbolin 19, Power Drive, and Methoxy-7, and I will/do use them intermittently as needed. I just took Spike for the first time, and I’m sold on that one too. For me, though, those are only for occasional use (and when I’m done with this dieting phase the HOT-ROX will be as-needed also). I was really glad to read about the plans for (possibly) a multi and a greens supplement. On a regular basis, I use:
Multi
EFA’s
Greens
Protein powder

I’d love to be able to get them all here. Your service is unmatched and the information at this site is great. Thanks for all you do!

I’m another Canadian that spends a good deal through SND that I’d rather have going to Biotest.

I don’t doubt that the US market should primarily be Biotest’s focus. However, I’d be interested to have Biotest survey Canadians and ask them if they’d purchase more from Biotest if Biotest had a distribution center in Canada.

I’d purchase all my supps from Biotest: protein, creatine, fish oil, MVMM, ZMA, Surge, HOT-ROX, ad nauseum!

Canadians are a pretty wealthy bunch, and though our population is but 1/10th of the States, consider that more Canadians per capita are on the internet than any other country. So, many of us are finding T-Nation online and would want to get our supps there.

I’m looking foward to hearing about the new USPS set-up for international orders, and possibly (I keep my fingers crossed) for Biotest Canada to emerge like EAS Canada did.
