I can’t say enough about this site, and I’m so glad I found out about this from a pay forum where there are other straight shooters.

I now have no need to pay for their site anymore.

I’m still shocked at how much free, quality information there is on this site!
Yup, that’s my story too. This site has a lot more information than any other, and it’s free. It just makes sense…doesn’t it?

Also looking forward to those fish oils.

I was at the SWIS 2005 conference

Dr. Serrano, Paul Chek, Rakowski et al (including our own Stayley was there) maintained that insulin management is the key to fat loss/ muscle gain
AND
the future of mitigating a pro-inflammatory system (precursor to all our top causes of death- cheerful note).

That being said, Grow!'s inclusion of micellar casein, etc. drops the GI and makes this it’s namesake . .a Growth promoting pre-bed, between meal shake that will not affect your insulin sensetivity.

Take the fish oil + CLA caps with it and you’ve got a dream cocktail.

Serrano’s lecture notes from SWIS have scientific proof of it all . .and the dangers of the cheaper whey’s sweeting with fructose, etc . .

This was not, “Mr. machine”, an infomercial but IMHO more a state of the union address.

I had the good fortune of starting with Gironda and working my way right through Draper, Zane and all the old crew’s methods . .when they all looked different in silhouette . .
Did they not all admit there allegiance to Rheo H. Blair for his protein technologies . .

Expect your Canadian market to grow guys, USPS was a smart idea . .and Fed-Ex is great for border brokerage- UPS sucks us dry with double billing- $$ to UPS USA and $$ to UPS canada . .so forget them.

Maybe volume discount pre-packs ?
6 containers at a better price kind of thing ?
Just my two cents on a whole lot of everything.
Well said and keep up the great work . .

Hey CM,

I know the idea has been brought up a ton but maybe us ontario peeps should do a bulk order sometime in the near future(perhaps after the new fish oil product comes out?). I just got 3 boxes of grow bars and absolutely love them when I am in a rush.

I am not sure if it would be any cheaper in the end but I know we could easily get together over a few grand worth of stuff.
Hey Blam,
I’m not sure how the logistics wold work- ship to one and then reship out . .but I’m all for saving $$. sndcanada.com charges $49.99 for a can of grow . . .5% off if over $200- free shiip but then come the taxes . .sheesh

HEY TIM, TC, etal . .would 5lb containers make sense ?

Cheers

Canada Shiping, once the cost of new shiping options are ready you can count me in on ordering direct from Biotest. I have ordered in the past, and have been doing group drive down and pick up orders lately. But SND Canada has taken the majority of the orders. But this ad/post has worked on me, I am through with SND. Nice add

Will we be notified when the new shipping options are an option?

Oh no I walked into KFC and there is no McDonalds menue!!

You expected him talk about the (sarcasm warning) cutting edge work done by EAS?

Great info Tim, I love that you took the time over the last few weeks to talk about the supplement industry and give all of us a run down of whats going on with some of the projects. I know I had been wondering about the print mag for a while.

I used to be guilty of buying Biotest products from another distributor because I could save some $$, but ever since T-Nation started selling at the current prices, i haven’t purchased any of their supplements anywhere else. I have been using Biotest since i first discovered the site back in 2000, and have loved everything I have ever tried.

Keep up the good work fellas, I appreciate all you do for your fans and customers. Here’s hoping that Biotest and T-Nation continue to go strong for a long time to come.

Any hints on when the Fish Oil product will be availible? Very soon I hope.

I’ll definately buy some.

Thanks for providing such a great resource and products to match.

I know I don’t NEED to say this, but I want to…

Shut the Fuck Up

I can’t help myself.

I have to ask one more time:

Why don’t you do direct mail campaigns selling Alpha Male to old men with limp dicks?

Why don’t you do infomercials selling Fahrenheit towards fat housewives?

Come on, when it comes to body image and sex . . . nothing beats a pill . . . especially one that works.

So mail some damn letters (written by a good direct response advertiser) and film the damn infomercial (again, hire a good direct response advertiser).

You’ll thank me later.

-Nate

Keep up the good work Tim…

You can sign me up for the fish caps as well.

Here’s some interesting info I found on the web regarding some of the research that Biotest sponsers:

Dr. Darryn Willoughby, HHPR; $26,013; Effects of Heavy Resistance Training and Oral 7-Keto DHEA Supplementation on Molecular and Biochemical Mechanisms Regulating Skeletal Muscle and Adipose Tissue Lipolysis in Trained Males; Biotest Laboratories, LLC

Stephen McGregor, Dir., Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance:
Gas Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer Purchase (Apprarently Biotest bought him a GC/MS).
Biotest Laboratories, LLC, Colorado $10,000

Proposal to Test the Effectiveness of a Myostatin Inhibitor Using an in vitro Model
Biotest Laboratories, LLC, Colorado $7,455

Stephen McGregor
Analysis of Androst-1-ene Isomers in Food
Biotest Laboratories, LLC
$15,500

He mentioned in the article that it would be out within the next 8 weeks. Long estimate is mid-January i guess. I can’t wait to see it on the market.

regarding samples of Grow!. I think this would work quite well. Personally I always was looking for the less expensive option. I found myself not finishing bottles because they tasted horrible. One day I was able to try some Grow! and fell in love with the stuff.

I have to admit I don’t really understand all the science of why it is the best, I just know it tastes great and gets me the protein I need.

I think this article is a nice idea.

Todd

I am definitely a go for the fish oil, multi and greens supplements if they ever happen.

How about a automated montly ordering option? This way you get your montly supply the first of every month. Just a thought to promote more orders

you say that as if it’s a bad thing…

Nice international shipping… WOO HOo.

I’m gona put in a big order when that comes through.

thanks guys,

Please make a BIG post when the USPS option comes online (along with the banned countries list)and I will devote a percentage of my paycheque to you guys for supplements LOL…

Seriously, I would even pay to use this site for the amont of free info and exchange of ideas between lifters and all the feedback…

Thanks for looking out for your intl customers in the shipping cost area…

I hope Canadian Customs officers aren’t all complete dickheads :stuck_out_tongue:

I purchased over $1K in myostat from Biotest when it came out.

I took it per label instructions for 6 months. Nothing to write home about.

I then contacted TC who was gracious enough to take the time to answer my questions and concerns. We decided that I should try to up the dose.

For the next several months I took DOUBLE the recommended label dose. Again, nothing to write home about.

I am a strength athlete and train with more volume than most. My personal bests show that I am an accomplished lifter.

In my opinion, I think some studies are warranted before a supplement company brings new products to the market.

Just my .02

Very informative. I read this site 5 days a week and recommend it to the guys at the gym, but I sometimes forget that this ia a business venture. I shall buy my protein supplements from this site now. One suggestion: How about putting together some supplement articles for everyday Joes who just want to supplement and not change their whole diet.
