Hey everyone I am about to buy this stuff for cutting but wanted to get some options on it from other Bodybuilders first thanks.
Syntha-6: 22g protein per serving / 30 servings a tub / ~ $27 a tub
Metabolic Drive: 20 g protein a serving / ~ 27 servings a tub / $27.99 a tub
The cost difference is essentially negligible, so I’d go with Metabolic Drive. Read the product article to find out why it’s a superior product.

Been using BSN products for one year specifically Syntha-6 and True Mass and I have to say out of all the proteins I have tried its the best tasting, best delivery best everything hands down. Its one of the few replacement sups that does not give me horrible stomach cramping.
If I want to cheat and eat something I can have Syntha-6 and be quite satisfied. This product in particular I am whole heartedly behind. As far as NO-Xplode goes I think it doesn’t deliver for the money, great tasting just not quite as sensational as its made up to be…thats just my opinion

That’s great and all, but I can say the same things about Metabolic Drive.
To me, it is the best protein supplement out there, and it helps support this great site.

I definitely agree that the taste is amazing, but “Best Everything Hands Down” is wrong. It’s a mediocre product. It contains both protein fractions (fast digesting) and micellar casein (slow digesting.) Why would they go and do a thing like that? If you take a scoop of the stuff, you’re getting a sub-par dose of each. You’re better off buying separate containers of each so that you can get a good sized dose of each when each one is necessary. Why the hell would you want slow-digesting casein after a set of heavy deads?

Clean and Jerk has a point, let me redefine what Im saying. Its best for me cuz it deosnt make me feel like Ive been punched in the stomach for a hour after I ingest it. However, I have never tried Metabolic Drive. I just was really impressed overall. Ive managed to put on 35 lbs of lean mass in approx 18 months and gaining.
The only consistent protein I have used is True Mass and Syntha-6 both BSN products. I initially was using the NO-Xplode but stopped after a month cuz I found it to be a waste of money. Also note that I make sure that a vast majority of my protein is natural I only use supps to bring it right up on 400g ED.

If a protein powder claims it is good for helping you get ripped and lose fat- it’s full of shit. It’s food for christ’s sake. There are no magic bullets. Think of it this way. If that stuff was able to “help” you get ripped- would it still only be $20/tub?

So… you still really think it’s your protein powder that makes all the difference? Your entire post reminds me of those commercials for the “brand new” exercise gear that shows experienced bodybuilder’s using it. They don’t come out and actually say that they got their body (from a brand new piece of equipment mind you) using it, but they imply it. I’m not trying to be a dick. Just thought it was funny.

Syntha-6 chocolate tastes great…but like everyone here has stated, Metabolic Drive is the superior product. And personally for me, I’ve never liked how Syntha-6 has corn syrup solids listed in the ingredients. Plus Syntha-6, if I remember correctly, has quite a bit more carbs than other brands do. 15 isn’t it? Compared to Metabolic Drive’s 2 grams.
i think u need too realize if you come here and ask for advice on another product there going too suggest a similar product thats available on this site, but yeh syntha 6 is great, i’ve only had samples but it did seem like a great product

I think they removed that quite a while ago. It’s always free shipping to anywhere in the US. I could be wrong, granted that all my orders are usually above the $150 mark but I remember TC writing about this.
