Thanks! The ghr machine at my gym has become totally wracked out of place. The foot hold is unstable and shifts and needs to be worked on so I have not used it. I like my gym…but its a bb one and fixing the GHR is not a priority when most of the patrons use it as a back extension setup instead of a ghr device. The wonky feet thing just made me so angry I stopped! Maybe the fixed it now / I can try next time and see! Its for sure been a while for sure! I’d probably have some trouble doing them.

And that giant The Derek machine I’ve never seen ANYONE use except the first few weeks they put it up. Surprise Surprise. That thing is messed up too where the ankle holder is dislodged.

I am for sure quad dominant. I rarely get sore in my quads, except from lunges. Hammies I feel in the zerchers for sure!

Ha, ha…I would like to see your shoulders a bit further back…they look just a tad in front of the bar when you initiate the pull.

Do you do KB swings / hip thrusters for the hammies/glutes?

As for the kb swings I do not do them, I have not given them enough time to get great technique and when I do them its hard on my lower back. Probably because I am not doing them how I am supposed to, so I avoid them. :{

I do however do hip thrusts! They are my warm up! I do them just with body wt, again, adding wt makes my spine really angry so I am not even going there. But bw ones get my glutes and lower back and top of my hamstrings awake.

I achieved a massive goal today–got out a septum piercing that was stuck in my nose for over 8 years. It was a screw in tunnel piece of jewelry that had corroded together off track, a piece you typically use on an ear but I was stupid and put it in my septum…I’ve been tyrign every now and then, for YEARS to get this thin out. Multiple plans, multiple people one being a doctor have failed. Thinking about it devastated me, really it did. The doctor had told me I’d have to cut my cartilage apart to get it out in my septum.

This thing has been stuck in my nose for so long. It never bothered me, you couldn’t really see if unless you looked in my nose but it was stuck. I was a fucking captive to this stupid piece of shit!!

Two of my sisters brainstormed and with the help of lots of wishes and a bolt cutter its out. ITS OUT!!!

I had ingrown nails on both sides of both my big toes( thanks to genetics on both m parents sides) for 3 years, standing walking anything made it feel like someone was smashing toes with a sledge hammer.And a year ago I was finally able to have surgery, the podiatrist pulled 1/8 of an inch of nail out on each side…so I can totally empathize!

SO I was thinking.maybe buying myself some real carry equipment, like real farmers handles or maybe just a tbar of my own. I have plenty of plates at home I could do my carries without being sweated by the stupid gym owner. Its on the list of maybes for special stuff I’d like some day. I can get a tbar for about $150 so that’s not out of the question…

Well, again I kinda fell flat on lifting tuesday. I am not sure if I am just behind on rest from a lot of work hours or what. But whatever. No lfting tuesday, yesterday’s pull ups are this

I did a biggish set then waited 45 seconds for the next set, then a minute or so for the net. It went like this.

then a bunch f misc set sto a total of 74.

Today
Not there today…I had no ommp, well, I dunno. I didn’t hurt myself so that is a massive plus. I take what I can get, I tried then changed focus.
