did cardio and a few misc benching yesterday. have decided to put the kibosh on cardio. over the last 2 weeks its progressed to crack addict status and i’ve done it WAY to much. so no more.

looking over my old log, I’m not too far from pre injury time abilities for some things. not even close on the dl’s of course.

summer is on the way…my wt’s decent. Saturday after work with clothes and stuff it was 164, weekend weight 172-174. I fluctuate a lot.

i beleive IPF is changing the wt classes for certain in the summer and I’m capitalizing on it. I was right smack in the middle of the classes before…freakin lame. but now i have a valid reason not to worry about cutting wt. plus–seriously, i’m no professional, so who cares?

i just really really want to do another meet!! I had so much fun last time, i really really really want it again.

HOO RAH for another meet yay Sindie!!! Also, cut that cardio crap OUT! pssh Lol, jk, but I’ve recently been keeping my cardio to about 20-30min (instead of 45-60) and have reaped the benefits of higher energy. If you really love cardio, but realize you’re getting out of hand, mebbe try your idea to cut it out and then add back in sessions as short as 15 to 20 min a few times a week. That could still give you the “feel good” benefits of cardio without cutting into your recovery too much :slight_smile: I’m glad to hear about the weight class thing, you have such a beautiful muscled bod and not having to worry about cutting weight is one less thing to stress about!

PMPM–yeah, I know! thing is its not that easy for me to get to under 158,so its not worth me even trying or fretting… I can be comfy in my normal size, and come meet day if i water cut maybe i can have a pleasant surprise of being under 158.if not, then no sweat.

My weight class is the only one that didn’t change. Although I would have been okay with it since I sit in the middle of two weight classes as well.

hey Nadia!you know, in all reasonableness I should have never really cared about my wt classes to begin with-- but this extra space is cool for me. I’m not on the level of the serious competitors, just Me Myself & I who it matters too.

Water depletion is tough for me–not the water loading part, that’s not too bad. its the day before where you can’t drink practically anything. I’m a huge liquid person and not having something to drink at all times makes me feel like I’ve lost a limb. And again–who does this matter to and who the fuck cares? me! so why not enjoy the horrible day before the meet with a Dew.
