confess those sins brother

Sweet Z-squats!!! I love those things. Do you start from the ground or low rack position or start high?

You moved a lot of weight today!

Missed you big guy. Glad you are back 'mongst the living.

Nice work bun-zilla man! Congrats on the gym at work, wish my work would consider something like that.

Usually start from about waist high in the power rack… Zerchers from the ground? That would be a bitch to get under me thinks… hmmm… I wonder, I may have to give this a try.

Wild man, try the box on the zerchers. I use a 14". Also, give bw squats a try. A set of 50 kills me. I envy your pressing, awesome stuff. Have a great week.

(zerchers)I think from the ground you deadlift it to just above your knees, rest the bar on your legs, then put your arms under the bar and start to squat.

D.E. Squats tomorrow too… I think I will give both of these a try after M.E. Deadlifts… I am looking forward to this…

Yeah… I was trying to picture how to do this, so I looked it up on Youtube. Good thing I did too… would have been funny me trying to get my arms under the bar from the floor for a zercher squat. Probably would have blown a testicle…

AUGUST 5TH- ASSISTANCE DAY

SEATED BARBELL MILITARY RACK PRESS (pins at #8 throat level)
barbellx warmup
135x8

CLOSE GRIP GHETTO ROWS (first time doing these)
2 PLATES X10 (90 lbs)
4 P’S X6 (180 lbs)
6 P’S X3 (270 lbs)- baseline PR
7 P’S x1 (315 lbs)-- stupid bar kept popping out of nook I was using… watched Meat’s video, then observed that someone was standing on the end to keep it place for him. Lesson learned…

STANDING BARBELL CURLS
135X8
135X8
135X6

DUMBELL SIDE LATERALS

Good night mostly… little disappointed with the military presses… lost 5 reps from nose to throat on the rack press.

Only posted one vid… pretty boring really…

I’ve done that - not blown a testicle - but grabbed it off the floor with my elbows. You gotta drop the weight really low and it’s still hard as hell.

AUGUST 7TH- M.E. UPPER

these mother’s are hard!

GRIP WORK- wrist curls and reverse wrist curls- PVC pipe (thick) with weights and rope attached- 3 sets each way… burn baby burn!
-dumbell hold- 150 to failure/ 140 to failure/ 130 to failure then hung off chinup bar (bw) to failure…

Done like dinner.

Bunny, I can only hope to one day be as strong as you. I’m afraid I’m starting 30 years too late.

Excellent work! the vids show good elbow extension - which is about the only point of form I can comment on…

The important thing… is that you started. I am sure if I got myself a bike, went into the mountains on it… I would never be seen again. You would have to follow the buzzards to find my bloated carcass.

Running up my bills and jumping to conclusions is the only cardio I get…

AAAWWWW Man! I’m gonna use that on my wife. She will cut me off for a month!!

Where’s Bunny??? Anybody seen that Jacked Rabbit? Where the hell are you man?? Are you OK? This isn’t like you.

TNT

I am here… just haven’t had time to post, but had an awesome workout on the 10th… heading to the gym now, wait till you see the numbers I put up on the 10th… I don’t know what I did different, or ate, or whatever… best day I have had in a while.

Even have video… back in a bit, assistance day!

AUGUST 9TH- LOWER

M.E. DEADLIFT- no belt or straps (conventional)
barx w.u
135x10
225x3
315x3
405x3
455x2 (PR 1 rep)
475x1 (PR weight without straps)
500x1 (PR weight +45lbs!)
475x1
** I don’t know what’s going on, but 500 went up pretty easy… I was gonna keep going heavier, but didn’t want to get too stupid**

M.E. RACKPULLS (below knees)
405x5
495x1
565x1 (PR weight 20 lbs)
585x1 (PR weight 40 lbs)
600x1 (PR weight 55 lbs)
same thing as above, was gonna keep going… but common sense kicked in

D.E. BOX SQUATS (13" box)
225x8 sets of x3 reps (30-60 secs max rest between sets)
bar x 50 reps (rest pause method- sucking wind now!)

still working on form, seems to be coming along well. I really feel these stretching the hips… did not realize how inflexible I was… and even though only 225, was pretty sore the next day.

All in all, amazing day… don’t know what I have been eating or drinking… wow.

Videos going to be posted on “youtube” in about an hour… type in “bunny7568” if interested… feel free to critique!
