In lifting news, my fucking quads and ass are sore as hell, the walk home from work sucked balls…much like Bug will be doing later tonight in the closet of some Halloween party.

I need to do cardio. There was a time in my life when I didn’t mind running. The only reason I hate it now is because I suck donkey balls at it.
But mostly it’s because I need to do something drastic right now. Something that is challenging. Lifting is easy to do because I enjoy the hell out of it. Running blows goats. Much like Bug and his gay lumberjack buddies.

I have just been doing 10-15minutes of fast walking on the treadmill following my lifting sessions recently…normally 10 minutes tho. I do it with the treadmill set to about 4.5 and my heartrate is usually in the 140-150 range which I think is good for fat-burning…which is the only reason I’m doing it at all lol. If I want to go more intense I usually use the elliptical.
In lifting news for me, my lats and mid-back are still sore today from Wednesday’s back session…that never happens. Don’t know if it was the switch on cable rows and lat pulldowns to super strict form and different grips or if it was the DC stretching - whatever it was I like it.
Damn… I’m taking a beating today… and liking it… grrrrrrrr. Ow ow.

hahahaha. Man. you guys got me pretty good though. I hope I can get some pics up of me in costume… My roommate/lifting partner Suny is small but has abs so obviously his shirt was unbuttoned last night… so girls would just come up and rub his abs and grab my ass (because it’s a fucking mountain).
good times though, tonight should get ROWDY. interpret that as you will.
I’ve completed Nate’s Russian strength program and the end result is a 255 bench press, 365 deadlift and now a 345 below parallel squat but not ATG.
Overall, I’m satisfied with the results and will look forward to testing these again in about 16 weeks after my hypertrophy phase which will be 15 weeks long. After which I’ll see if I want to do the program again.
Bug, will we have to take our half-naked profile pics down…do they get you too horny?
Dre, I think you should do it. A little friendly competition (that you actually have a shot at…ha!) might help get my speed up to par, if I know you’re out there working hard at it as well.
I think I’ll have to keep up with the running at least once or twice a week to keep my conditioning up (once I GET it up to begin with) after this whole thing, I have a feeling it’ll help a bit with active recovery/work capacity.
