So, you’re from a priveledged background in india, and your experience of Uk life is based on your family, who are doing very nicely if your uncle is a doctor. I think your view of the UK is very narrow. That university you are at over here, if you choose to look, will give you a massively diverse view of British culture. There will be people from hugely priveleged backgrounds, and there will be people like me, from a family of manual labourers.
Secondly, Indias middle class does have a higher standard of living than ours. I’ll grant that. Howevere the disparity of wealth in India is what allows that. Therefore you can afford cooks, maids and drivers, because they cost very little.
