I’ve read somewhere, may have been here on T-Nation, that tea/coffee can hydrate you as well as water does, and any dry mouth feel you get is from tannins.
I down 4 shots of coffee in the AM. I think you should try limiting your coffee past mornings. I used to drink coffee in afternoons and at night and that REALLY messed up my sleep and recovery.
