Bring Back the Over 35 Lifter

These dudes are over 50. More like an “up-wheeze-whisper-cough” nag.

I’d like to see the forum return, as well. (38)

Bring it back!

I support this initiative.

I miss the over 35 forum in the same way that I miss my 36 inch waist, ability to bend at the knees, and full head of hair.

Bring it back, but make it over 40.

Oh, and require ID.

I would also like to see that section return. Power to the People! (Unintentional shout out to Pavel.)

I would also appreciate the return of the “over-35” thread. (I’m pushing 40 this year.)

I registered for this site and created an account just to add my voice on this.

I get a lot out of the younger crowd, and most of the info here is great for every lifter, but let’s bring back a place to discuss the unique needs of older lifters.

yes, it was my first stop, and the reason I started here.

Just offering up my opinion on the disappearance of the “Over 35” forum:

Being just a shade under a decade shy of 35, I never once poked my proverbial head inside the “Over 35 Lifter” forum.

Now, seeing some of the people who were/are passionate about it, I realize that there may have been a lot of great, time-tested information in there that I missed, which is painfully absent from the majority of the other Forums.

However, perhaps that’s the reason for the abolishment of the “Over 35” Forum. Maybe T-Nation/TC/Tim/The Mods felt that the advice and wisdom of the “Over 35” crowd was needed in the other forums more than it was needed hidden away in a forum that almost nobody over 35 ever checked out.

I completely understand your lack of enthusiasm about joining into the 1,587th “What’s the best multivitamin???” or the 3,548,921st “Six Pack in 2 weeks!?!?” thread, but your wisdom is needed amongst the immature and the bull-headed as well.

I mean, Professor X can only do so much on his own out there amongst the mentally handicapped and/or egotistically swollen, and I just don’t have the patience.

Just my opinion, though.

Please bring it back, or at least state a VALID reason for removing it.

Thanks

I agree, bring it back.

I would definitely like to see the “Over 35 Lifter” forum return to this site. There was much more to it than just TRT. I believe the webmaster got rid of that forum because he felt like that was the only subject discussed on there and it wasn’t. Even if it was…who cares?

TRT would be a factor for lifters over the age of 35 in a lot of cases. Why not have this topic discussed there so lifters in the master class could get up to date information to keep training effectively?

Bring it back! Please?

I also enjoyed the over 35 category. I would like to see it or something similar.

Though, a worthy one.

I just now saw this.

So, do you want the “Over 35 Lifter” back or what? I can’t really tell…

Turning 39 this year…and I’ve been reading this site since 1999…so that’s a sign…pleeeeease bring it back!

To be or not to be that is the question… (Tallguyy76 & Keaster, I’m asking to be flamed!)
