I agree that working out on your period is great, esp deadlifting. I even hypothesize that deadlifting makes your period go faster.
Do you notice any changes of strength around that time? I’ve had some of my worst workouts slightly before.
Oh yeah, I’m with you on the hormones. Nature gave me the perfect balance and fucking with that is a recipe for disaster.

oh hell yeah… im fatigued easily with cardio… definitely less energy all around like 3 days before and 2 days after, but it’s always good to just do the workout anyway. my shits really bad 4x out of the year, and pretty tolerable the rest of the time…and i get insomnia/depression/uncharacteristicly strong urges to cuddle and start long term relationships with anything with a pulse/… but i know it’s just the hormones, so i just tell myself to man up and knock it the fuck off. hah.
