The crazy part is, that’s what he injured!

Just shows you the guys work ethic. Can’t think of many other guys with his structure that are easily in the top 8 bodybuilders in the world. He has admitted himself that he doesn’t have the greatest structure, but he works his ass off and makes up for it with a lot of thick, dense mass.
It is very inspiring watching him train and seeing how far he has come!

Agreed, the guy is an inspiration. No nonsense, no bullshit hard training.
Branch is the best. I like his ‘hardcore’ image and his personality. As mentioned he has really improved. In that one MD shoulders and triceps vid he is so fucking massive. He has definately brought up his delts and tris (rear delts especially imo).

with nice counterweight two dumbbells smh.
anyway, i wish i could train at Metro Flex. theres a gym with the same kind of intensity where i live that Det trains at but they dont have the kind of equipment for BBers its all Stronman, PLing and Oly.
lol@ the guy from MetroFlex shitting on the internet gurus and their scientific formulas.
guy works with Branch and Ronnie, 2 Olympia level competitors, not one author on this site can compete with that.
do you live near boston? because im moving back in july and i want to be at a non-shitty gym
www.totalperformancespots.com that’s the gym I train at, and the one he’s mentioning.
yup.
tell them to add some hammer strength and a leg press for the love of god. theres no hardcore bodybuilding gyms pretty much in america let alone the north shore. Super Fitness used to be up there but it got bought out,
Mike’s Gym was a pretty grimey place and theyd even change the radio for ya if you asked (R Kelley is no good for squats) but even that place started turning weak b/c guys were getting complaints at the front desk for being “too intimidating”
for some reason in this area theres a ton of big guys with no where to go. some kid was old school rowing 7 plates w/ a barbell jammed into a calf raise yesterday.
if TPS wont cater to us, then i hope the rumors about a Metroflex Boston are true.
[/quote]
Then pray that there’s going to be a metroflex in Boston, I doubt Murph wants bbers at his place that want to use machines. We got a new wave of strongman and 90% of them are former bbers, so idk man.

yeah, like i said the enviorment in there is cool n all but no fuckin way in hell you gonna try and get me to train in a place that doesnt have a single hammer strength machine or anytype of legpress/hacksquat. which is why i train at a Ballys of all places, they dont have a hardcore atmosphere to say the least but they have a decent setup…and wicked nice bathrooms.
i mean flat out, you arent going to look like a BBer training with logs and stones and shit. im all for getting creative with equipment but its also nice to be like ok, theres a Lo-Row or theres a calf raise and even a Smith has its place.

Doesn’t matter you freak them out anyway.
I’m rooting for Branch

His and Levrones are my aspirations when I destroy, no I don’t stimulate, train, encourage, my delts. I FUCKING DESTROY THEM. I warm up properly and listen to my body but thats the only way I get this fucker pointed in the right direction.
I don’t know guys Branch might get fucked over again. No Weider flag on his camp. Yeah, Victor won it too but I still hold a pretty firm position on the politics in the sport. Like Cutler before him, Dexter could show up in a wheelchair with two broken arms, a neck brace, and an IV and still win the whole damn thing.

thats because Dexter Jackson could still be in better shape than almost anybody even in those conditions, i think youre forgetting that Dexter Jackson is Dexter Jackson

He hides an extra deltoid under his quad in case one explodes from pure awesomeness.
Or so I’ve heard.

Plucky, I’ve been watching this since the Dorian era. I know who Dexter is. The point I’m driving home is that the current Mr. Olympia has a good shot at a second specially when he’s one of Weider’s boys.
This was painfully obvious when Jay “Cuts” “Da Fridge” Cutler took it away from Victor. If Chad doesn’t fuck Wolf up again he’ll be force to be reckoned with as well.
Rooting for branch, if not Toney, never been a fan of vic or kai…
As ‘Hardcore’ as Branch is obviously viewed as, there’s also a certain likability to him. The same way you couldn’t help but like Ronnie, you just get the sense that Branch loves nothing more than banging the heavy weights (like a pig in sh-t -lol). And I think we’ve all had those days where the weights are moving easy, the pump comes quickly, you look just a little more vascular in the gym mirrors,… and all is right with the world -lol. Makes you wanna work harder yourself when you watch his vids.
