So gents, whats the consensus on Power Drive? I think it rocks, but I HAVE to take it with food, or else I get jittery and too stim’ed out.

All I would say is if Power Drive is making you feel too stimulated, then stay away from stims. You may just be incredibly sensitive to choline or tyrosine or DMAE, but I realy don’t feel much of a difference taking Power Drive. If anything I feel calmer and a bit mentally smoother.
I’ve got a little left over sitting around, and i used to enjoy taking it preworkout with the rest of my cocktail, but it was a little cheaper then too.

For me at least, Im not productive academically on stims. In the gym though, its a good thing possibly. [/quote]
I dont like it. It makes my mind foggy and it gives me anxiety. It’s the Tyrosine in it that makes me that way.
Been giving aniracetam a go for a while now, around 650mg before class. Works pretty good, seem mentally more awake with no noticeable anxiolytic effects. We’ll see how well it actually worked come test time.
However I recently bought some Z-12 and found it actually keeps me AWAKE rather than helping me fall asleep. I’m definitely more relaxed but seem a bit buzzed. I’ve tried both one and two caps and the effect is just greater with the higher dose. Now I no I’ve had no problem with phenibut in the past, given it is good quality. And I’m a fan of a bit of green tea here and there and I’ve never had a problem sleeping after a small cup at night. So I’m wondering if the 5-htp isn’t working like it should.

Yeah, about 25 or 30 years ago I used to take a pinch of tyrosine powder and place it inside my upper lip onto the gums, the blood vessels in the gums would take it directly to my brain, talk about a sudden jolt! Those were crazy times…I can’t handle that shit anymore.
I’m a student and I recently started drinking endorush occasionally before or during class, and it really makes me focus. I’ve never had this affect with caffeine alone, even fairly large amounts of it (Spike), and was wondering if it is the combination of the caffeine and the vinpocetine or some of the other ingredients.
This is the list of ingredients under the topic energy & nootropic: N-Acetyl-Tyrosine, L-Tyrosine AKG, Taurine, Glucuronolactone, Methylxanthine (Caffeine & Caffeine AKG),Bioperine®, Vinpocetine 99%,Vincamine 99%, Vinburnine 99%. Vinpo alone seems fairly inexpensive and if that were enough I’d prefer to just take that alone, I haven’t seen much mentioned of the other nootropics in this thread but it is quite long and I could easily have missed it.
If it is any one or a couple of those ingredients that is likely causing this affect on me what would be recommended doses for someone who has never taken them individually before?
Thanks in advance.
P.S. I hope mentioning another brand product is not against the rules, I am not advertising for the product, just using it to show the source of the ingredients taken.

Yep, had the anxiety thing too. I wasn’t that over stimmed, just anxious.

Thats interesting. That also means you could pop a cap in the A.M and have a nice buzzed, chilled out feeling during the day.
Seems like you might have a different use for it.
I would bet that you would sleep better in the P.M on it after taking it A.M, given some residual Gaba should still be present when you hit the sack.

I’ve never heard of anyone doing this with Power Drive. I’ll try it tomorrow.
I worked one of the most tedious and redundant computer jobs of my life a few years ago, and I learned a few things about trying to stay awake. I used to do the same thing with a pinch of coffee grounds.
Hey so vitasprings dot com kinda fucked me over … they said my order shipped over a week ago and then i just called back and said it is on back order. In conclusion, whats a good site for ordering aniracetam?
What I really like about piracetam is that it doesn’t force me to be awake. I can actually fall asleep at night even if I take some in the afternoon or evening. Sometimes if I am tired I even feel like it helps me focus on sleeping and I fall asleep faster…

Have you tried other racetams? If so, do they have a similar effect as you described above?
Yeah, I could say the same, very judgmental and critical of myself and others while on gotu kola. On the other hand vinpo and L-theanine seem to make me more empathetic and sympathetic with others. I can pick up on more subtle clues in other peoples behavior.

i was actually talking about vinpo doing that me. ive never taken gotu…

So could you share with us your experiences with the pirecetam?
