That’s normal man. I don’t quite see what you’re complaining about.
Check out cognitivenutrition
swanson vitamins has vinpo. 10 mg 90 Caps for 4.99, or 30 mg 60 Caps for 9.89.
Not sure if it’s the stack or just happened to be luck but I wanted to sum up
so far I’ve been taking vinpo, ani, and dhea 3x a day with 10mg, 500mg, 500mg each dose (taking it in powder form and washing it down with some water and taking about 2g of fish oil each dose at the same time) than usually followed by a meal.
So far my ability to concentrate has seemed to improve, typically I get a migraine shortly or my head actually seems to get very hot and I become stressed when doing any work so I take a ton of breaks. Now I can actually sit down and get my work done and feel great. Nothing mind blowing! But seems like a start.
The great thing being my workout last night might have been the best one I’ve had in 12 weeks! I was just in the zone…wasn’t anxious, but focused and just wanting to lift. Could barely wait for rest periods and the weights just flew up like nothing. I think I even finished 15min-20min sooner than usual which was surprising.
Not sure how to properly play with the dose, but I may just slowly raise after two weeks and see how I feel.
KC, you sure you mean DHEA?
Here’s results from my first two midterms.
First year biology, 80%(24/30). Didn’t study as much for this as for physics, b/c I’ve had a tougher learning curve with physics than biology and chemistry.
First year physics. TBH, I thought I bombed it. Was happy to find out I got a 75%(15/20), as I studied my ass off for this one.
Now where it gets a little more interesting is that the class average(489 students enrolled), was less than 60%(I think she said 11.25 or 11.75 out of twenty, so 56-59%). So while I’m happy with my mark(physics isn’t a pre-req for any later courses I’ll be taking other than 2nd semester physics), I know I can do better.
In class when the teacher said the average was “kind of on the low side”, I semi-quietly proclaimed ‘fuck yeah!’ when I heard the number. Not the best sport, but it’s nice to know that you’re ahead of the curve.
I have the chemistry midterm this Thursday, and then that’s it for a few weeks. I’ll post those marks when I find out. I’m actually excited for this one as I’ve been helping quite a few people with certain concepts/calculations that have come to me a lot easier than most people I’ve interacted with, although I’m certainly not infallible, probably closer to laughable(shitty pun eh?). Teaching/mentoring has definitely helped reinforce and build confidence in my own skills.
On a semi-related note, one other thing that I believe has helped me out is ‘suffering’ from illusory inferiority.
I’ve met quite a few people that, let’s say ‘talk the talk’, but don’t necessarily ‘walk the walk’. But that’s probably b/c I’m the older kid in class, not that I have a boatload of life experience but some of these kids, holy fuck! This one guy in my class was bitching about a microwave in some building not working, and how our tuition should be paying for it. I gently ripped into his ass about “Why the hell should I be paying for your microwave? You want a better microwave, chip-in for it with other students that use it.”
Anyway, I’ll stfu now.

Guys,
I’m new to this nootropics stuff but I like the sound of it all, especially from what you have been saying over these threads, BBB. I was wondering if you could give me your opinion on the following stack: Hydergine/pramiracetam/centrophenoxine, as opposed to the regularly recommended ani/DMAE/vinp. Better, worse, or unnecessary?
I am fascinated by all of this as I have a good mind when I can focus, but my main problem in life is focus; I cannot seem to focus on anything for long, and I have terrible willpower when it comes to things like study. I have heard that nootropics can help with this, and I hope it true. I have a measured IQ of 150+ but I can’t sit down for ten minutes without staring out of the window, thinking of relativity, an idea for a novel, a business model - anything but what I am supposed to be thinking of. It’s as if my mind is hyperactive and just won’t sit still.
Thanks for any info anyone can give on this; I dream of a day when I find something that can focus all of this random mental energy I have into a beam.
What makes you want to try your stack before the recommended one? Just curious.
BBB
I had a look around the net, and from what I could see, they seemed to be the more powerful of the nootropics, but having looked round here more and having seen some of the results people have had with the vin/ani/dmae stack, I think I’ll have a go at that and, as you have suggested, do some experimentation of my own.
Thanks for the advice. Alright to keep in touch to give you all the lowdown on what I’ve found? And could anyone PM me with a reputable inexpensive supplier in the UK?
i am planning on doing the herbal stack as laid out in page one of thread one. and i have a few questions.
so been taking vinpo for about 2 weeks now and, i dont know if they’re related, i’ve started getting random sharps pains in the top of my head. just an inch or two left of the crown. the pain is under the skull, it feels like…
i also take stims pre workout but this only started recently. has any one else had this happen with vinpo?

I get headaches (from vinpo i presume) if I use 120 mg in two days. But not on normal dosages. Vasodilation plays at least some role in migraine, but not as big as previously thought.
Maybe lower the dose?
What stims?

ill try lowering the dose… the usual pre-WO stims 1,3D caffeine and whatever else is in those
OK a little update and some observations.
I started using NeuroStim Monday last week.
I can say that I don’t need to rely on caffeine as much as I used to. I used to, every now and then, start my day with 3x200mg caffeine. Or a couple cups at the office in the morning and even more cups of tea. So that’s definitely an upside.
I’m still having trouble concentrating, but things come a bit easier to me now.
Also, an interesting observation I had was that while studying for midterms, instead of trying to do last minute cramming, I actually just relaxed more and trusted myself. In the past, I would have probably studied more the last night before the exam, now I skimmed through the materials quickly and watched a movie one night, and got updated on music blogs the night before another exam.
Somehow, I seem to trust myself more when it comes to learned material, I’m not trying to force feed stuff now.
I got 97/100 from one exam which makes me quite happy. For an MBA student with a bunch of other interests than classes, NeuroStim seems to be delivering well. I’m looking forward to the effects of long-term use that BBB has mentioned before.
As far as concentration, that’s something that will hopefully come with time. One thing though is that being a music junkie already, hearing music now can completely distract me from whatever else I am doing lol.
Other supps I’m on now are:
Pyritinol
Magnesium Glycinate before bedtime
Vitamin B3 before bedtime
The occasional dose of caffeine
First time I’ve popped into these threads, not sure if it’s been mentioned, but anyone looking to keep their brain functioning properly should read “Save Your Brain” by Dr. Colgan.
Hi guys, I’ve got a few of questions:
What do you think is a good dosage of Pramiracetam? on the internet there are all sorts of dosage protocols. I was thinking about starting with 150mg and see from there.
Has any of you observed any differences between taking the stack (Ani+vinpo+choline) with a liquid meal (containing fat) rather than a solid meal?
How would you feel about adding Piracetam to the Ani+vinpo+choline stack?
Ever tried Piracetam + aniracetam in the ratio 5 to 1?

x2 I usually take the majority of my BFB’s with fish oil/whey/fiber but ive been wondering…
For the fat soluble noops, I usually have some almonds and fish oil, along with meat(trace fat), and then down the pills at the end of the meal.
