That’s good to know about the pink grapefruit juice, thanks for that.
Just thinking out loud here but since the -racetams effect is on the brain and if you’re taking it sublingually it would avoid the GI system, and you’d be digesting the shot of grapefruit juice, would they even have a chance to interact? Like the -racetam is working on the brain, and not circulating throughout the body, while the grapefruit juice is circulating throughout the body but not making it past the blood-brain barrier.
Forgive me if I’m incorrect in my thinking, I’m not very schooled on this, and just cross-examining with what I’ve read.
Either way, I’ll definitely check it out, and see if it works for me.

Grapefruit juice can interact with anxiolytic and psychotropic drugs…so there is definitely something going on here…but let us know your results.

That was from a different forum. The link was removed
Yeah, I’ve never heard of/experienced a crash from it. Just seeing if any here have.
I also ordered a stack of Aniracetam, Vinpocetine, and DMAE. I will report back on how it works. [/quote]
Where did you order from? I also wonder is there any difference between brands? Are these all synthetic or natural? I’m assuming it’s similar to multivitamins in that you shouldn’t try to purchase them at a store because they carry lower quality and synthetic ingredients.

Overloading the CYP450 enzyme will reduce the clearance of things like E2. So you might get better absorbrion of your drugs/noops, etc but in the long term you risk elevated E2. Unless of course you regularly deload the pathway with Vitamin C.

Quick pubmed search said that grapefruit juice can block aromatase as well. Won’t that make up for at least some of the bad effects of worse E2 clearance?
Do you have a “standard recommendation” for centro use and dosing like you do for the other drugs?
CoQ10 at 400mg gives a nice boost (both mental and physical.) Nothing extraordinary though.
DMAE at 500mg just before bed definitely improves overall sleep quality.

Hmmmm…I have been more horny than usual since starting my experiments with 1 to 2 shotglasses of grapefruit juice per day…so the experiment continues…
Thinking of trying centro. Is it best to combine with just aniracetam and DMAE? So you don’t get Vinpocetine?
No one really says whether it’s better to go powder or pills. Anyone familiar with the quality of different brands out there and whether any specific are superior to others? Is it ok to talk about specific brands or not?

Could I get someone to PM me the site they are buying from? I’m looking to get some DMAE, Vinpo, Ani and Oxiracetam. I’ve found a few places online but I don’t know about their quality or if there is somewhere cheaper. I live in the states if that helps.
I dont know if you can buy publically, but my doctor gives me Centropenoxine, piracetam, theanine, idebenone, and huperzine a from “Cognitive Nutrition” and DMAE from PhysioLogics.
Ive played around when studying with various combos of these. Seems to work well when cramming 3-5 hours of reading a day and memorizing Power Points. Ill have to re-read the thread at some point to maybe establish some protocols to try this coming semester.
