Brain Candy Info?

Has anyone else noticed a lack of hunger? I’ve been taking it since Monday…since Monday, I’ve had virtually no hunger until about 5 PM or so…anyone else experience this?

Anyone else crashing around mid-afternoon? I’ve taken BC around 7am for 4 days and am usually in pretty good shape up until 2-2:30pm. I think I saw someone else mention something like this but I don’t remember where.

I have felt nothing from Brain Candy, nor has my wife. I ordered her 1 more case to see if there is a build-up effect? Anybody notice anything like that?
I tried it 1st thing in the am, empty stomach 3 times and felt nothing. I use 3 Spike tabs and a scoop of Power Drive 30 mins before lifting.
???

Similar here. To preface I am not on any weird meds and took on an empty stomach with no food ingestion for 15-20 min afterwards. I tried it for 3 days straight as well. Heres what I found:

1.) A decrease in hunger, when I ate breakfast I was noticeable more “nauseous” (not the correct term) but I just couldn’t eat like I normally do.

2.) I felt like I had a ‘brain cloud’ all day, I just didn’t feel right all three days. From other reviews I thought I would feel this zen like feel, I actually felt better the days I didn’t take it.

3.) I also noticed a crash around 1 pm (I took it at 5:30 am)and needed some caffeine around then, definitely did not make me eager to train or anything like that (although its not supposed too)

4.)I noticed no increase in mood, confidence,(don’t really have a problem with that) or general ‘feel good’ feeling.

I did notice an increased sense of concentration while taking it, but the way I felt for the majority of the day way outweighed in a bad way the increase in concentration.

Now I am not going to say stay away or bash this supplement, I think Biotest makes great supplements but this is my honest review of what I felt. I guess I just don’t do well with no-tropics. I might also not tolerate caffeine as well as I thought, so if they come out with the caffeine free version I might give it a try.

I have used it for over a week now. Haven’t noticed any decrease in hunger. However, I haven’t noticed any mood enhancements or anything resembling some of the livespill comments in the product description that may be sensationalized imo. I do look forward to drinking it every morning for the caffeine and the taste is pretty good.

Taste is fantastic. I’m gonna chalk the hunger thing up to the fact that I normally don’t have anything “in” my stomach when I eat in the morning, or it’s the caffeine load. I noticed the same thing when I used HOT-ROX on an empty stomach in the morning a few years ago. It was only with my breakfast that i noticed it, the rest of the day I was fine.

I kinda wish it was less sweet…but the taste is fine. But then again, I’ll just put a scoop of leucine in my mouth and and drink some water so…

I have taken Brain Candy for about 10 days now.

  1. I have experienced GI troubles, that seem to be getting worse
  2. I do get a mood enhancement and an increase in the ability to concetrate
  3. When I take it early, I do feel a crash about 4-5pm and it makes it harder for me to get a good workout in
  4. When I work out within 1-4 hours after taking Brain Candy; the workouts are generally very good.
  5. I feel there is a culmative effect. I am generally calmer and more focused

I just took Brain Candy for the first time. I went about it like I was taking a psychedelics. Fasted for 18 hours, ate lightly the day before. I’ve tried study drugs, and take Piracetam and choline regularly. Train on Power Drive. Honestly this stuff feels awesome. If the effects stay like this I will definitely be ordering more.

Fasted for 18 hours

Took Brain Candy

Definite change in mental focus, and energy

Variables

Take Power Drive to train
Supplement with Piracetam and Choline
Smoke Cigarettes (Nicotene tolerance)

If the effects stay like this I look forward to ordering more.

Anyone know if its safe to drink Power Drive with this stuff?

Not recommended or necessary based on what I’ve seen in the spills, but I doubt it will kill you.

Don’t take Power Drive when taking BC… you don’t need the extra tyrosine or DMAE, and there are plenty of choline sources in BC so you don’t need the p-choline in PD either.

Pros:
Awesome Focus
Ridiculous Energy

Cons:
Jitters
Anxiety

I find the shot is best taken about an hour before training, if I take it any earlier in the day I find I can’t relax at all.
I’ll sit down to watch a movie and end up nervously tapping my feet and fingers until I cave and clean my house or something…
Weird.

I’m hoping with continued use the effects level off in to a more smooth energy.
I probably just need to get used to Caffeine again.

I felt the jitters strongly on day 1, but since then (day 4 today) they’ve been either marginal or non-existent.

Thanks for the info!

Edit: Used Brain Candy in the morning before a long work day, and had solid energy all day. Perhaps a little faded at the very tail end. Better than usual. Went ahead and ordered 16 more. Any information on cycling? I was thinking 2 on 1 off/ 3 on 1 off. To expensive to not take some days off.

Any news on caffeine free version yet?

to the dude that brought up “Some possible suspects: ginkgo, bacopa, vinpocetine, huperzine A, gotu kola, etc.”

You do know those ingredients listed above dont actually do anything right?

Seems like a interesting supplement though, whats the cost?
