Brain Candy Info?

Yes but it hasn’t been released yet. Not sure why or when it will be.

Can you take Brain Candy with HOT-ROX? I know you shouldn’t take Spike and HOT-ROX together so just wondering…

Lol you CAN, but I don’t know if it’s necessary or advisable. I did it a couple times and I’m still kicking.

The label warns against it.

Any idea when the caffeine-free version will be available? I really don’t want to give up my morning coffee - it keeps me warm in my over-ac’d office and tastes good.

To add, I understand that the de-caff version is not the same, but realize that my 16 oz morning cup of coffee has about the same amount of caffeine (300 mg) in it.

Same here. Plus I drink more later in the day. Not only for the caffeine, but also because I enjoy drinking coffee. I need a decaf version or no sale for me.

This is my situation as well.

Lol why not go for decaf coffee instead of decaf Brain Candy?

Decaf coffee is like taking a shower with an umbrella.

I mean, it’s up to you if you want to take pleasure over efficacy. I enjoy the taste of coffee as well, but I think the cognitive benefits of Brain Candy blow any mood/focus/energy I get from coffee out of the water.

Priorities.

It’s not just the jitters I get from intake of caffeine (I still get it when I take it with L-theanine…I’ve done it; L-theanine doesn’t cure that for me)…its the damn caffeine withdrawal that I get as well.

No. No caffeinated anything for me again. I will wait for the non-caffeinated version.

Did you try the L-Theanine in a 7:1 ratio to help w/caffeine to calm the jitters? It’s in one of the Japanese studies. I buy L-Theanine in bulk.

No, not near that ratio. L-theanine was “decent” for me at the dosages I had taken…both with and without caffeine. I don’t think I want to up the theanine dosage from my “sweet spot” with other nootropics.

No caffeine for me. : )

Because at home, I brew it for my wife too and she drinks regular.
At work, the coffee is a regular caffeinated brew.

Not sure what the big deal is, Biotest already said they’re coming out with a decaf version.

Sorry if this has been asked, haven’t made it through the spill.

To what degree should Brain Candy be cycled? Should we take a day off every week to let the adrenals rest? I’m thinking more from a tolerance standpoint…I don’t want it to lose effects over time, although this might not be an issue as I understand it?

Thanks

If you’re worried about the 300mg caffeine, just use the decaf version when it comes out.

Same here. Plus I’m a little overwhelmed with all the “stimulant, focus” (for lack of better words) type of stuff out there available. You have spike, alpha GPC, powere drive, geranimine(sp?), ephedrine, regular nootropics ie the racetams, vinpocetine, huperzine, etc., and now brain candy. But I’ll still give the decaff brain candy a try.

I thought I saw some mention in the spills of the decaf version not being a definite release, though I’m not 100% sure on that.

Honestly, I tried the decaf sample plus coffee as well as the regular version of BC and for some reason the former option just didn’t seem to work as well. I have no clue why and maybe others won’t find that to be the case if it’s released, just sharing my experience.

If the decaf version is actually released and it works well with your normal coffee intake, then that’s great.

Brain Candy is the goods.

Couple quick notes:

  • I saw someone mention that they weren’t overwhelmed with a whack of caffeine, and I’ve found this to be the case as well. Despite 300mg sounding like a lot, it really does feel like a quick “blush” as they described. A really great feeling mix all around.

  • This one may just be me, but I’ve noticed my sleep has been improved since starting. I had gotten into a terrible habit of staying up late and sleeping in. Since starting, I’m actually relaxed for bed time, and am waking up refreshed well before my alarm goes off.

  • I just plain like how the day goes.
