Thats interesting my TNG is always stronger than my paused no matter how much I seem to train paused
I think the norm is TnG a little better than paused but ima roll with it.
I am the opposite currently, with all the paused variations ive been hitting the past year i dont think i could TnG with 265 right now… lol
Ok session today. Lacking a lot of sleep. Lower back definitely felt off after these deadlifts. I think this is the heaviest I’ve gone beltless for more than a single so probably need to hover around here until things feel stronger

Preseason training today. Feeling a little quicker and agile. Did about 20 half field sprints at 75% afterwards.
Strength has taken a major hit since soccer started up. I think once again I need to choose between strength and soccer and soccer is going to win this one right now, especially since I’ve been training with a pretty competitive club. I’m going to try and keep maintaining as much upper body strength as I can but the reality is I simply can’t squat heavy twice a week while playing 3x a week.
I’m thinking 2 upper body days, 1 squat day to maintain at least something, and a deadlift day. Cardio each day at the gym as well. I’m sure I’ll flip flop once again at some point but I’ll deal with that when I get there.

Preseason friendly today. Played pretty well, feeling a lot more comfortable on the ball than I did a few weeks ago. Long way to go in terms of fitness though. I need to get a routine going to maintain some strength. I’ll probably write one up tomorrow.
Does ur gains let you dominate the field?
Definitely a massive advantage in 50/50 balls and general protection of the ball. Now that I’m 30lbs heavier it seems like it have more space on the field lol
Last time I played small sided I just leaned on people and it was pretty effective offensively and defensively. Must be what 99 STR players on FIFA feel like

90 minute preseason match. Played at left back. Gave the ball away several times, touch was relatively poor overall. Made some solid tackles and runs otherwise. Lost 2-1 but I’m glad I made it through the whole 90 minutes.
