While I feel no real need to defend my actions from an internet tough guy and saint who clearly has difficulty reading and comprehending what I wrote there should be a few points of clarification:
She was a waitress, not my girlfriend. Though she is a friend of mine.
I didn’t intentionally slam the guy into the door, my plan had been to run him through it, not into it. Why run him through it instead of trying to peacefully remove him again? The peaceful removal didn’t work the first time so why would I expect it to work the second time?
This was not some innocent drunk sitting peacefully at a table, he assaulted a waitress. This makes him a bad person and I don’t have to be nice to bad people.
He came back into my bar. Why? I don’t know, perhaps he went to get friends, perhaps he went to get a weapon. Perhaps he just came back to even the score with myself or the waitress. Regardless of the reason I would be a fool not to take the upper hand and finish things quickly.
Remember he wouldn’t have gotten hurt if he hadn’t assaulted a waitress, then returned to a bar he was ejected from and told not to return to.
Plus I just plain forgot the door was locked in the hurry. If it had been open it wouldn’t have hurt him at all.

LMFAO Now I’m an internet tough guy…my name is Steve Dana and I live in Gibbstown NJ…I don’t live on the internet. If you ever get to the States, holler and we can get together
Finally, since you seem keen to debate it NO, his actions didn’t justify you running him thru the door. You’re the supposed professional. You represent the club. The club would lose the lawsuit and you would lose the court case for assault. If he is under your control and you run him into the door, and you think that is defensible, frankly you’re an idiot and you are the reason we can’t get a fair shake. Even if the door opened, its a piss poor mannner to remove someone and the act of a amateur bully. Defend the indefensible if you’d like - it might have been humerous - to you and maybe others - but what you described was not justification or necessary force.
Now, if you weren’t working, that is an entirely different matter altogether. Stomp his ass whatever. But you’re supposed to be the professional…I know this is lost on you. Let me retire to my internet lair wherein I lie tough lmfao.

I love the way you keep talking about the bar or myself being charged or losing the lawsuit.
You really should check into the Alberta Liquor and Gaming act and the powers that it gives to doormen to remove patrons from our facilities, I did nothing that could possibly result in criminal or successful civil action.
Yes you’re an internet tough guy, you’ve repeatedly told people that you’re tougher than them and that they couldn’t do that stuff to you, kinda making an assumption about our abilities aren’t you? I’m not going to start comparing combat resumes because it’s pointless to tell people how tough you are from behind a computer screen. . . something you still haven’t figured out. Obviously I’m never going to come and visit you, I live in Edmonton why the hell would I come down there to carry on an argument?
Don’t forget, I didn’t intent to run him into a door, accidents do happen. . . to everyone.
I already pointed out my reasoning, if the guy came back it’s very reasonable to assume that his behaviour would mirror his previous behaviour or worse. I could have put him under a citizens arrest, notified the police, and had him charged with trespassing and sexual assault, instead he ended up on the street. Seems like I was being a nice guy doesn’t it?
I’m not a bully, I don’t pick on drunk people it’s like kicking puppies it’s not exactly a fulfulling encounter. But this isn’t a defenseless drunk, bullying indicates that the person being bullied did nothing to deserve the treatment. This guy committed an offence that carries a 10 year sentence. . .plus he was trespassing. This guy was doing the bullying. . . I put a stop to it.
I’m not going to bother responding to you any more, I really do have better things to do and since you seem to know the ins and outs of a situation you weren’t part of better than the people that were and the police officer that was present (did I forget to mention that?) I’ll bow to your omnicience.
