Are there any supplements available to help strengthen or at least maintain the immune system?
Flu season is rapidly approaching and public gyms are like giant petri dishes. I was thinking about taking some echinacia or Golden Seal, but I’m not sure how effective they are, or if either one would react with 4-AD-EC?

Any advice is appreciated.[/quote]
Neither would react negatively with 4-AD-EC. Although, in my opinion, the data on those two is a little conflicting in certain aspects and it’s the reason why I’ve never used them. Consuming green tea each day is a good idea and it may have some anti-viral activity. Although, admittedly, the amount require to replicate results seen in the literature would require rather high consumption, but nonetheless, it doesn’t hurt.
Last, but not least, A7-E, found in HOT-ROX and so forth has also shown some very promising results. I’ve even seen some data demonstrating efficacy against West Nile Virus. I always made sure to take HOT-ROX prior to mowing the lawn.
Also, taking your daily multivitamin and higher amounts of certain vitamins/antioxidants is also a great idea.
One of the best and most affordable supplements you can buy is “beta-glucan”. Read the research on it. I took it for 3 months and it helped to elevate my white blood cell count to a “normal” range.
how about coconut oil, olive oil, silver alkoloids, zma, protein, multivitamin. clean your hands before you touch any part of your body or wear gloves. laters pk
Plently of veggies of any colors! Antioxidant supplement would be good but it’s useless if you don’t know what you’re doing or the brand youre using. Vitamin C and Vitamin E probably should be the base of the foundation before you go crazy on other stuff. 400-800IU of MIXED tocopherols and Tocotrienol like NOW Advanced Gamma E plus Tocotrienols and around 3g of Vit C spread thoughout the day since it doesn’t last very long in the body. Increase Vit C if you’re feeling under the weather. Virgin Coconut oil is very interesting as it has anti microorganism properties, you know same stuff that you find in your mommy’s milk when you drank when you were baby. You won’t find that high amount of stuff like that in any other foods on the planet.

I find anything from New Chapter to be of an exceptional quality. Yes, they’re more expensive then others, but as with most (not all) of the other things you get what you pay for.
