I usually wouldn’t post anything in OT, but I felt this was relevant…
Anyone else seen the Boost Mobile commercial w/ the drummer from Blink 182 (Travis Barker) as a professional bodybuilder? They did a pretty good job of pulling it off using whatever form of effects they did.
Anyone know if that’s a real bodybuilder they used for his body (and superimposed his head) or if that was done by effects entirely?
Either way, the most impressive of the series so far (if there had to be such a thing) as far as effects and entertainment are concerned. Altho, not sure about their take on the industry…
I saw it the other night, Gunter makes a cameo as does that “little Hercules” kid. It was kinda funny, though I thought it was ironic that the commercial makes one assume that Travis “looks better” the way he actually does, considering he’s built like a 12 year old girl.
On a side note, Travis Barker is quite possibly the most over-rated drummer ever, right next to Lars Ulrich.

Being a drummer the grew up listening to guys like Neil Peart, John Bonham, Tommy Aldridge, Alex Van Halen, Nicko McBrain, Mike Portnoy, Vinnie Paul, Danny Carey, and lots of other guys with TALENT, one gets a little annoyed when you hear the:“OMG!!! YOU PLAY DRUMZ!!! ARE YOU AS GOOD AS TRAVIS BARKER!!!1 HE FACKING OWNEZ!!!” schpeel. It’s like you want to choke them and tell them to go listen to real music.
By the way, I read the BTS players on you, I need to check out your band some time!
