book for cheap

I’m running short on cash at the moment… does anyone know where I can buy a used copy of “Power to the People” for cheap? The used copies on amazon are only a couple of bucks cheaper than the new ones. Thanks

Try this: www.powells.com They are the largest bookstore in Portland (brand new/used). Powells Books takes up a whole city block (and has four floors). OR www.half.com

OR do you have any used bookstores in your area?

The library, depending on where you are. There are several copies in our library system(Denver). The book isn’t detailed enough to warrant the $35 in my opinion. You could read it once and know enough, maybe write down some details. Hope this helps.

try www.addall.com

Thanks for the tips, Patricia. No dice, but I’ll keep looking :). I don’t have any quality used book stores in my area, at least not that I have been able to find. The public library system is pretty good, but they don’t tend to carry a whole lot of books on strength training :).

Good information is always worth the money. That said, read the interview with Pavel at T-mag. He has some interesting things to say but has been repeating them for a long time now. He only has a few interesting concepts/tricks up his sleeve. He’s a bit of a one trick pony I’m afraid, and has very little to offer aside from his few good concepts. Reading his column at MM is like reading the same one every month.

Check out amazon.com, they have a used book section. No, the other amazon.com.
Best of Luck.

The other amazon.com?

Yeah. You great sound pretty amazing websites listed when you run a goggle search on the word amazon.
But best of luck find a cheap copy of the book you seek.
