The White Prisoner: The Secret Story of Galabin Boevski (Bulgarian: ) is a 2013 sports biography by Bulgaria Today sports editor Ognian Georgiev.[1] The book was published on December 21, 2013 and focuses on Galabin Boevski, an Olympic weightlifting champion charged with trafficking of cocaine.[2][3]

Synopsis
In 2011 Boevski was caught trying to board a plane in São Paulo, Brazil with 9 kilos of cocaine. Boevski, who intend ed to take the drug to Europe, was arrested and sentenced to nine years. He was later returned to Bulgaria in October 2013, having only served two years of his sentence.

On the official facebook page of the book (Redirecting...) every day are posted interesting facts, stories, news and pictures about all the famous Bulgarian weightlifters and coaches from his generation.

Yordan Bikov is the first ever Bulgarian weightlifter who refused to take the pills given by the national team coach Ivan Abajiev. Years later the same did Galabin Boevski.
Bikov will rest forever in history, because he won Olympic, World and European title in just four months. Aaaa, we forget to add that he broke the world record at 75 kg division, who is still unbeatean, because Munich Games in 1972, when he topped 485 kg, were the last time weightlifting was divided in three competitions (Clean and press, snatch and clean and jerk).

Bikov won European title in 1972. The Munich Olympics were at the same time World championships.
In the night after his great success, he put the gold medal under the cushion. The Bulgarian wake up several times and checked if he is not dreaming. But once his hand feel the medal, he failed asleep calm.
