^But it’s more fun when they don’t know better…
Thought this was going to be about your bones aching when you weigh 300lbs.
Since when is benching 300 something to brag about?
True it is relatively new for me, which is why I ask is other had the same issue. But if i wanted a pat on the back instead of advice/help I would have started a “300 bench raw” type thread like many othe people do in the BB or performance photo section.
Ryan Kenelly said he could feel his bones bending the first time he benched 1000 pounds soooo…bench more weight.
My thoughts upon reading the thread title- “Wow, this guy is either built like a house, or disgustingly fat.”

And therein lies the intended beauty (in the eye of author) of your deception. "hey, I’ll put it in GAL for the most awesome veiled brag ever! yeah!).
seriously, I bet a 300 raw bench is well to the other side of the bell curve for the average readership. and you know it.
but I do thank you for allowing me to post a double veiled brag response for my 300+ close grip and 21 reps of 225 after d/e benching. i sincerely appreciate the opening
LOL

The bones in my arms hurt when benching over 300, any one else have this too?[/quote]
How would you describe the pain? I’ve heard of shoulder pain when doing “heavy” benching, but I really shouldn’t hurt the bones in your arms. It could be your wrist position if you are talking about your radius or ulna.

I mainly feel it in my forarms once the set is over, re-racking the weights. But like someone said before it could be the lack of muscle strength in the forarms instead of the actual bones, but it just feels like my bones hurt.
Maybe if I start a brag thread Ill get some advice on the subject.

It doesn’t seem like a brag to me, he asking a legit question. Oh, and I banged Jenna Jameson last night, and my dick really hurts now. any advice?

Penicillin…?
Okay I’ll give an honest post. This used to happen to me when doing preacher curls. What helped me was lightening the load and going for higher reps while incorporating more forearm work into my routines. Lifting heavy can cause tiny stress fractures in your bones. Build up your forearms and go easy with anything that hurts them and you should be good after your forearms build strength and mass.
My forearms have always been lacking so I had to pay extra attention to them to keep them up to par with everything else.

Agreed.
300 was highschool weight. Everyone should know that, if anyone thinks a max of 300 is a huge bench they should shoot themselves.
The bones in your forearms is what I will have to assume your talking about, the only other bones I could think of that might hurt would be collar bone.
Its not likely a “bone” issue, although certainly being bigger and stronger = heavy bones.
Its likely to do with your wrists, alot of guys with weak grips/forearms need wrist wraps to bench.
As was said, hammer curls, direct grip work, use chalk when you bench, dont use an ULTRA wide power lifting grip if your raw, plant your back and feet hard into the bench and ground. And squeeze/try to bend the fuck out of the bar, people say this all the time, but it really does help to TRY to bend the bar, actually do it.
Stability is key in the bench, people dont seem to believe me when I tell them push with your heels like a motherfucker so you stay straight. Almost everyone has a stronger side, or arm, or pec, or something, your not completely balanced, so you have to keep the differing torque from causing rotation.
Bodyguard;
What gripper is that in your avitar?

Very likely the OP’s issue is not a bone issue at all but a tendon issue. Tendon inflammation and scar tissue buildup in the forearms and overly tight muscles in the forearms, arms and chest.
I’d suggest serious soft tissue work and flexibility/mobility with a period of low(er) weight.
how many parody’s are their?
