I saw a recent message concerning bodyfat mesurement. I have purchased a Tanita impedance based %bodyfat scale. Does anybody know how accurate these are? How do they compare to ohter means of mesurement? Thanks for any help.
- or - 3%. I have heard they typically measure high. Don’t know if this is wishful thinking though.
T-mag reviewed these things in their “stuff we like” column. Do a search.
I use the one with athlete mode (don’t even consider one without if your in good shape) - It measures about 3-4% high depending on how hydrated I am. For example, if I’ve “watered” myself real good all day than I’ll see my lowest readings.
