I can’t do squat or deadlift because I have knee problems but I never have any problems doing bench press.
High reps to cut and low rep to gain mass, yeah right
doing 2 hours of cardio makes you lose fat.
to name a few

One thing I have been seeing alot of lately:
-Doing every damn exercise one the FreeMotion Machine is going to turn you into some functional superhero
-If you aren’t doing your exercises on a ball or a BOSU, there is no way you are involving your core
Don’t get me wrong, I believe there are a few select exercises that have come from the functional craze that are worthy of incorporating into a strength program that is based around sound principles. But most of these people are going a little overboard, if they play ball, they are going to get their asses kicked.
Myth:
Solid training consists of doing cardio, bench press, bicep curl and stretching
every day, always. In that order.
Myth:
Because I trained good I can trash myself good out on the nightlife.
Myth:
Normal people can’t exceed average limits.
That you can shoot deca and sit on the couch and watch TV and drink beer and look like Schwarzenegger.

There are people who believe that bodybuilders have “ZERO athletic talent but a great body” (quoted from a thread) and other “just a nice body” comments…that is just ignorance. Myth: It takes no work to build a muscular physique.
So true… I had to deal with that at another forum. Such a huge ego, trying to act like he’s better than everyone else on the forum just because he’s in medical school. Truly believes in modern medicine for fixing health problems. Fuck him.
