Anyone here collect nostalgic bodybuilding memorabilia? I recently started collecting magazines, old bodybuilding courses, and muscle building equipment from the sixties and earlier. Get a lot of it from Ebay.
There seems to be a good deal of interest in it by the number of bids placed on items, especially old Charles Atlas mail order courses.
Anyone else interested in this?

Yep, my dad & I have a nice little collection. One of my all time favs is the entire course of Charles Atlas. It’s in superb condition & I treasure it very highly. It’s in the safe!
I know this one guy, Mike Bondurant, he’s got a HUGE collection. It’s like crazy!

I just got a copy of a Joe Bonomo barbell workout with some pretty amazing lifts in it. I tried several and they are effective. you can learn something from the old stuff and still have a cool slice of Americana.

Do you live in Clearwater? Mike and I used to write for Natural Muscle Magazine about 10 years ago (he may still, I don’t). I met him at a Tampa Bay Naturals contest many years ago (at the time I think he may have just moved from the other coast) and he was cool as hell, although I’ve never had the chance to see his museum.
Does he have it set up as a museum anymore, or just as a private collection?
