Next time I go to a local show around here I’ll come back with video evidence. This is the go-to move for about 70% of the population here.
what, how, where, how, but, what, WHERE CAN I GET THIS?!?
Don’t know what part of the world you’re in, but here in the US pretty much any Walmart, Walgreens, or any other super market has em in the ice cream section now
They have some flavors that are 360 calories a pint that actually have chunks of whatever flavor it is mixed in(red velvet cake, pancakes and waffles, brownies, etc. etc.)
Great, now I have to move to ‘murica
Where do you live? They’re just becoming easy to find over here in Australia, being in just about any health food or supplement store. We’ve also got another company, Peters, that do full 2 and 3 litre tubs of low-fat, sugar-free ice cream available in practically any supermarket. Gotta try it one day
Wasn’t the whole advertising idea that Nutella is “a delicious start to the morning, as part of a healthy and balanced breakfast”? Everyone became really pissed because it implied Nutella was nutritious, but cheeky advertisers were simply saying it’s okay to enjoy when everything else is relatively ‘clean.’
‘healthy’ is such a nebulous term, I’m of the opinion that you can make an argument for just about any food as healthy in the correct context. Which is essentially the argument advertisers make for sugary breakfast cereals (which I eat regularly).
If I have a couple bowls of cookie crisp with milk in the AM before a hard workout, and follow it with a larger meal after the gym, I’ve eaten healthy. Ive done what is necessary to promote muscular growth and sustained energy through a strenuous morning. Context is everything.
Nutella is healthy as fuck.
I had to search for the conversion but a pint of this is 300 calories. No protein but it’s cookie dough! Items like these make me adopt the IIFYM diet from time to time.
It has 46g carbs, 2g fiber, 32g sugar, and 6g of protein ![]()
I eat starbursts at the gym. They’re perfect when my blood sugar drops or my energy starts to fade.
At the movies - junk food.
At the gym - fuel.
BTW, Halo Top is expensive AF, unless you get it on sale. Tasty AF, but . . .
I must be an outsider because Halo Top takes like shit to me. Too fake. I’d rather just have ice cream that tastes like ice cream.
Agreed.
Careful.
It’s not ice-cream.
It’s a frozen desert.
Yes, there is a difference.
There are plenty of things that taste amazing when you;re on a contest diet, but as soon as you’re not, you cant believe you were ever able to stomach something.
When my wife last prepped for a contest, she would have warm quest bar with arctic zone ice cream on top for a few meals each day. Once she was off season and we went to an actually ice cream parlor, she couldn’t believe that she was ever so enamored with her little “brownie a la mode” concoctions -lol.
S
But it’s a substitute for the ice cream that we really want. I’m not knocking it. I like other protein products such as brownies, pancakes, etc. I just don’t see a need to replace ice cream yet.
It delicious…I’m pounding some peanut butter cup Halo Top right now.
Dude, I’m an ice cream junky. When I’m like two days into a diet I’m |-----| that close to suckin dick for some cookies n cream ice cream, so I’ll take what I can get.
@khangles insert gif of Bob Saget yelling at Dave Chappell for not sucking dick for weed, but insert ice cream instead
To be honest, the only way I somewhat enjoyed halo top was when I warmed up one of those Oreo quest bars and put the vanilla halo top on top of it. Wasn’t bad, but all that Erythromycin and fiber REALLYYY fucked with my stomach. Ha
I can agree with this part. Tho my kind of BJ is Ben and Jerrie’s.
I’m currently 36 days clean and sober. At my worst, I had at least a pint of ice cream every day for about 7 months. It became clear I had a problem when my wife was out of town and I downed two pints of Ben and Jerrie’s in 20 minutes and didn’t remember taking a single bite. That’s 2500 calories!!
