Then you don’t have much experience.
Either way, as X said, this argument has been murdered sideways by now.
Bodybuilders are big, strong guys. Kind of like ironworkers or farmers. Just big lads. If you were to train them to fight, they’d probably be decent at it, and if a guy can hit well and put his weight behind it, then it’s going to be a rough night.
You put average bodybuilder anywhere near a trained fighter with some ring time, and they’re dogmeat, because… well, they’re bodybuilders, not fighters.
Average people back down from fight.
Average people make about 80 % of population.
Big body builders scare most people just by appaerence. Also big body builders are overconfident in their fighting abilities.

Alot of big dudes aren’t that strong or fast.
Sik
Perhaps you are confusing big with fat. However here in Japan “big” sumo guys probably are the slowest fighters there are, but I want to see a “fast” boxer knock them down.
Strength-yes
Size-no
Quickness-depends
However you failed to mention the big determinant. ENDURANCE. You can be quick and strong, but if you have 0 stamina the fight is over before the 1min mark.

Bodybuilder vs avg joe
yeah but avg joe (me) is more likely to pack a gun
Exactly what I was thinking. If you hang around places where there’s lots of fighting 90% of the smaller men will carry guns.
Metal beats flesh any day of the week.
How about this comparison: A 225lb pro boxer and a 130lb. avg joe with a .38 special…hmmm who would win?

The body builder, because he can
a) hide more guns, due to size
b) handle bigger guns, due to strength
c) handles recoil better
d) probably does not go down after being hit once or twice.
Plus, if someone pulls a gun on you and you have less than 7m to cross, you have plenty of time to get to him and stab the shit out of him or break his neck.

Why this is all so fuckin confusing is beyond me.
Heard of a pro bodybuilder that once got shot in the leg by his wife. The muscle stopped the bullet before it hit the bone. Yeah, bodybuilders ARE INVINCIBLE!!!
