Ok, I’ve been following the Bizarre plan pretty much from the start. Same workouts, same diet. I’ve also been taking my heart rate and body temp since the start, and writing down the weights and stuff I used. I have a hard time writing down the reps though, it takes my entire mental fortitude just to go to failure six times in a row, much less memorize a string of digits while I’m doing it. I’m doing the very best I can.
Anyway, here’s my stats last week:
Heart Rate 100
Weight 204
Temp 97.2
And here’s today:
Heart Rate 84
Weight 200
Temp 96.1
Both taken at morning, after bathroom, before breakfast, etc etc, by the book.
I might have cheated on the heart rate this time, I did a lot of long range target shooting all my life, and taught myself how to control my heart rate. So I lowered it by conscious thought. I focused hard just now, and got 62. On that note, the heart rate might not be an accurate tool to measure me.
But I’m pretty sure I couldn’t make my body temp drop a degree by thinking about it. I’ve been strict on the meals and workouts, I’m sure I haven’t missed anything obvious. The logs don’t lie, that’s why we write them.
So what’s the prognosis here? Food, cardio, rest? I know I feel tired, but I’m coming off of my second day of rest here, I should feel great by now. I certainly don’t feel DOMS anymore like I did, although the logs show my lifts going UP not DOWN, so it should hurt more!
Any ideas? I’ll keep at it, regardless. Thanks all, stay strong.
