Shouders today… anyone who’s followed my log knows my shoulders are weak sauce mc gee from my old injury but I’m ready to build some bouldershoulders.

Seated BB Press: (no idea how strong… well actually weak i would be on these)
135 x 8
145 x 8 (will move up next week)

Seated DB Press:
75 x 8
80 x 7 (pleasantly surprised by the pressing even though its diary of a whimpy kid style)

Cable Laterals:
45lbsx 8, 7

DB Laterals:
40’s x 8, 6 (+2 partials)

Rear Incline DB Raise:
20 x 15
25 x 15
30 x 15

25 minutes of incline walking… 3.2mph on 10 incline.

Not great but I was ok with the weights. The OHPing wasnt felt good and my shoulder was holding up nicely so thats good. Its gonna take a while to figure out what weights I should be using with this new workout but anything that I got over 6 on I’ll be moving up in weight next week.

Jake- Thanks buddy. hahaha they didnt all turn to fat but I’m definitely smaller now than I was. My shirts dont fit the same way :frowning: but its ok. I’ll come back soon enough.

Inky- Whats up brotha? What do you mean about the facial hair? Did you not see that the Fu Man Chu is coming back? Couldnt have it during the academy but started growing it back out on day one homie! Day one!

Marz- Appreciate the kind words. I’m hoping it comes back… we’ll see how it goes. Really focusing hard on back and shoulders right now, wanna bring those up.

Fack i thought you said you were fat you got fat. Looking pretty damn good for not hitting the gym for 3months. and eating like crap. Stil better than 95% of the population and better than a lot of tnationers.

Strength and muscle will come back nice and fast and i bet you lean up even more (not that you need to jeez)

Worked wonders for a lot of guys around here especially Waylander, his techniques have brought my back recently as well. Good stuff.

Marz- yeah I’ve read up on meadows stuff and even given some of it a try (admittedly, not long enough though)

My brother and my sister in law had their baby yesterday so I spent the whole day at the hospital waiting to meet my new little niece. It was so cool. She was 9lbs 12ozs and absolutely beautiful. Miracle of life.

Today I had a great workout. Strength levels were really high (for me post academy anyway) and today was very encouraging. Woke up yesterday with my left shoulder really hurting. That’s the shoulder with the surgically repaired labrum so whenever it feels funky I get all nervy. Was planning on taking it easy today. Warmed up a lot and felt awesome so I just wnet for it. All listed sets are top/working sets.

Chest & Tri’s: 2 x 4-8

Incline BB: 
225x 7, 5 (no spot) really happy with this

Flat BB: 
acc-225x3    245x8      255x8 (<— piece of cake. Coulda repped 275 easy)

Incline DB: 
acc-65x3      90x8      100x6

Dips:
45x8,     BWx17 (no dip belt so I just used a DB for tr dips and it sucked to get into position… Went BW after that)

Push Downs: no mechanical advantage… Last week I was on the station with multiple pulleys and it was too easy. Different set up and way harder. Liked these.

Now I’m in the midst of 30 minutes on the stairmaster/stepmill. Felt awesome today and strength levels were WAY higher than last week. Snapped some pics post workout and I’ll upload a few when I get home.

Smashing weights, sunny day, beautiful wife, gorgeous new niece, strong healthy baby boy bakin in the oven… Feelin really pumped on life!

arms have lost .75 inches since before the academy.

went from 17.5 cold flexed to 16.75 cold flexed.

they’re coming back though.

Just got hooked up with an early birthday present!

my buddy got me this TENS unit. Pretty excited to hit up my shoulder and any other little aches and pains with some electrotherapy. These things are awesome! Things just keep lookin up!

Pretty good day so far. Got some nice NY Strips that I’m gonna grill up for lunch with the wifey… Just hit the gym now and then the boo is taking me out for an early birthday dinner since she flys out of town for the weekend starting tomorrow. Probably gonna have steak again lol

Doing 30 minutes on the stairmaster/stepmill right now. Pretty good workout today… I’m lovin this hard and heavy short workouts. I feel amped up and ready to SFW the whole time. I’m expecting good things. Went up in weight/reps on everything today and felt good. Brought my straps (sissy la la style) and was feeling my back muscles working a lot more.

Up 2lbs since the last Monday… 208lbs. A ripped up 210 would be ideal I think? Onward and upward from here baby!
