Hit the gym tonight and did quite a bit of stretching. Did 5 x 10 pull ups with 60 seconds break between sets and then hit the stairmaster for 25 minutes. Got a good sweat and was feeling really warm.
After that I hit 5 x 10 more pull ups with 60 seconds rest and then 4 x 10 lat pull down with the V Handle grip. Back was feeling good… just wanted to get some blood flowing and get a sweat.
Gonna keep icing it up tonight while I watch the Chargers game.
Dude, we’vetalked about my various injuries. When I’m on the foamroller and mobility I feel good. When I slack, I don’t. Get on it brother. It really does make that much difference.
I would not rush things if I were you. Back injuries can be lingering. Take your time, you’re not on a deadline.

you know my husband said the same thing about his knee. I finally nagged him enough so that he would go to the Doc. Turns out he’s been walking around for MONTHS with a torn ACL and meniscus. He’s gotta have surgery now.

still here, just crazy busy. hit the gym friday (focus on shoulders/tri’s) and saturday (focus on bi’s/cardio) for some circuit stuff and to loosen up.
Got into the gym today for some cardio and chest. Good workout.

Incline BB: 235 x 6, 5, 5 (should get all 3x6 within the next week or two

315 x 3 (Just wanted to see how many I could get. Meh)

Finished with Burpee Long jumps. Instead of jumping up you jump out as far as possible (suuuuuuucks)
2, 4, 6, 8 10 and then back down. Did the reps every minute on the minute. huffing and puffing like a fat kid at this point.
Havent been on much and will probably be logging sporadically. Tons of wedding stuff, school stuff and life stuff going on right now. Take it easy everyone.

crazy busy with wedding stuff but still managed to get a workout in. Actually got in the gym for a third session last night. trained my fiance but got 15 minutes on the Stairmaster and then did a circuit with her that was:
Cable Curls: 125 x 12
Cable Tri Pushdown: 165 x 12
KB Swing to Overhead: 45lb KB x 20
100 Jumps with the Speed Rope
10 Burpees
did that circuit 5 rounds through with no rest. Did some ab circuit after that… feelsgoodman.jpeg (sup Inky!>!)
Couldnt sleep last night cause I was thinking about tons of stuff I needed to do so I’ve been up since 3 in the morning.
Hit this gym at 6 this morning with my fiance. Did 30 minutes of incline walking @ 3.5MPH and 8 incline. Then after that I trained her.
This afternoon I got into the gym for my leg workout.
mobility work, stretching and foam rolling
BB Box Squats: (these felt awesome. Havent done box squats since highschool but they felt great)
warm up sets
225 x 10, 10, 10, 10
135 x 20 (quads were burning)
Hack Squat:
2pps + 25 x 8, 8, 8
Single Leg Lying Hammie Curl:
70 x 8, 8, 8, 8
Walking Lunges:
50lb DB’s x 10, 10
Stiff Leg Deficit DL’s:
135 x 12, 12, 12
and done. Felt great today. Heading off with my mom now to buy her dress for the wedding and get some stuff shipped up to the hotel. 2 weeks from today we leave for the wedding.
