225 x 8, 8 (quads were smoked. Gotta work these more now that the PL meet is done with)

Leg Press:
2pps x 10
3pps x 10
4pps x 10
6pps x 8
6pps + 100lb plate per side: 6. This was awesome. There werent any more 45’s laying around so I hit up the hundies.

Single leg hammie curl:
60 x 8 each
70 x 7 each (weeeeeeeak)
60 x 8 each and then 12 together

Step Ups on High Bench w/ Dumbbells: was going to do lunges instead but my boy was hurting.
40’s x 10 each leg
60’s x 10 each leg

Stiff Leg Deficit DL’s:
135 x 12, 12, 12 ooooooooooooouch

Rode the bike for 10 minutes to loosen things up and then… you guessed it, ABS! FML! I was dying. Lots of oblique stuff today. that was it. Feeling good. Having some friends over for a BBQ tonight so Chef BoyarGregron is on da grill. Yeaaaaaaaa Buddy!

so I woke up this morning and my foot is all whacked off.

I dont know whats wrong but it is seriously strained. I’ve been icing it this morning. hopefully it stops hurting within the next few days. sucks

I like how you can go from athletic training, to PL’ing, and now to stereotypical BB’ing split, without any real effort. How’s it feel to be good at everything, Greg?? lol

When my knee was at its worst, I did these with barbells. You gotta concentrate on not pushing off with your bottom leg but if you set the box high you can get a real nice quad/ham burn.

This happened to me when I started doing unilateral leg work (started 3 weeks ago) for the next 2 days after doing single leg RDLs and Split Squats I could barely fucking walk, it was like in a constant cramp like state. but on the third day it dissapeared, hopefully it will do the same for you.

That leg workout looks intense! Sorry to hear about your foot man.

Scj- I dont think I’ve ever done them with a barbell before? Sounds rough. I was leaning forward on each rep so that i wasnt really pushing off with my bottom leg (or I was trying not to) and it was feeling good. Pretty tiring exercise. I was feeling the “burn” fa show

Matty- Single leg work is a biotch! My hammies are still sore today. Not so much my quads but my hams for sure. I think it was the real slow deficit stiff leg DL’s. My hamstrings were screamin from those. Feels so bad but also so good at the same time.

Blaze- Sup mi amigo? The foot is feeling much better today. not 100% but better than before. appreciate the concern.

Oregand- It was a pretty good leg day. Gotta start working those front squats again cause I was struggling with them. My foot is on the come up lately so thats good.

Didnt get a chance to log yesterdays workout but it was a good one. It was shoulders and traps day again and I feel like I absolutely smashed both bodyparts. Traps are feeling sore already this morning so I bet they’re going to be really bad tomorrow lol.

DB Front Raise:

Lean Away Cable Behind the Back Raise:
3 x 8

Two shrug variations in the Smith machine:
4 sets of 8-12 for each exercise

DB Shrugs: stretch at the bottom/pause at the top
110’s x 10, 10, 10 drop 80’s x 14 ouch

DB Lateral Raise all the way to overhead: Saw these in a CT video i think? and bug did them? I think?
15lb DB’s (lol) x 20, 20, 15

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand done. Shoulders and traps were crushed. Felt awesome. I really liked that lat raise variation as a finisher. lots of homework today and then hitting the gym later for biceps. snapped a series of pics at the end of my workout. Here they are.
