Matty- Thanks buddy. I’ve been on a mustache bulking cycle for a while now and I feel like its really paying off. sometimes you bulk and bulk and bulk, then you get to that uncomfortable stage where you want to go into a cut for the summer but I had to push on through that and I really attribute most of my mustache hypertrophy to getting past that point. Now I feel like my mustache has naturally reset its “Set point” if you will. If you dont have that mentality, then maybe you’re not cut out to be a mustachioed man?

Scj- Sup buddy? Well my OHP consists of smith pressing like a lame-o. I cant do BB OHP cause of my shoulder. I tore my labrum a few years ago and had it surgically repaired. My ROM is not 100% on that side. I can do some DB pressing and whatnot but if I go heavy (think the 90’s and above) it hurts. I really dont want to risk injury again so I just stay away from it and hit lots of raises and the OHP in the smith. Ive repped the 100’sx8 before (post surgery) but I was getting pain in my shoulder and dropped that exercise. I wish I could do it and I think thats why my shoulders are kinda lame but i never want to go through rehab again and look like a friggin skinnyfat turd lol
ok so as you were all probably wondering… I was in that San Diego blackout fiasco. IN FACT i was actually mid workout when it happened and they kicked everyone out of the gym for saftey reasons and I almost went apeshit on them like the guy from that planet fitness video. I had already done bench and was on my last set of dips so at least I got my main lift in but it was super lame.
Ended up having no power or cell service from 3 in the afternoon till a little after midnight when it kicked on. It was actually pretty nice. Went to the store and bought a bottle of wine (had to scrounge up change like a friggin bum cause I never have cash on me lol) and then i grilled up some NY Strips (over a pound each. baaaaaller). My fiance made the yummy rice salad and we at dinner, played Yatzee (sup matty) drank some wine and chatted by candle light. (pic of dinner)

I used this real think black band that we have at the gym but it sucked cause the weight was bungee cording around on my dips and I was scared for the safty and well being of my junk. It also was much harder cause at the bottom of each rep the band would stretch and it would get so much heavier and keep pulling me down. definitely an interesting event.
that was it. power went out at this point so that was all she wrote. I’m going to hit the gym today and get the rest of yesterdays workout plus this afternoons squat workout. Hopefully it all goes well. Thanks for checking in on my log mi amigos. will report back later and let you all know whats up.
