Seriously jelly of your bench man. Your squat also dominates mine severely, if I can be caught up a little more after putting on 10lbs or so, I’ll be a happy man. Jake- yeah I think upping all my maxes to that and doing percentages from there will be better. I know the plan for 531 is slow progression over a long period of time but I only have 3 more weeks so my ass needs to get in gear! hopefully that’ll help me by handling heavier weights.

Ok so today was a pretty rough day. Like I said before my body is recovering from a 4 day shitfest as far as nutrition/sleep is concerned. Had class today and then San Diego decided to have one of the worst weather days that I can remember. It was 97 degrees and humid as balls. WTF San Diego?!?!? Its never that hot and NEVER humid!! so horrible. So basically I spent all day sweating my ass off and not hungry at all cause of the heat. I got back into a little bit of a routine and ate MDD style today which was nice.

Gym trip was sucky at first but picked up after Smith Machine Pressing… Weighed in at 211.5 on thursday of last week before my trip and today i was 217! Faaaaaaaaatty! lolz. bloated as fuuuuuh.

190 x 5 (doing these with the seat facing the other way is so damn hard. It was killing me today, plus i was so sluggish. not happy with this. I might switch back to doing these with the seat facing the other way. That way I am pressing up and slightly out rather than up and slightly back. Any suggestions on that?)

DB Inclines:
75 x 10
80 x 10
100 x 9, 7 drop to 90’s x 3 to get the rest for that set
90 x 9 (chest felt great here)

Pull Ups:
5 x 10 w/ 45 seconds rest. need to get that weight belt fixed

EZ Bar PJR’s on an incline bench:
45lbs on each side
10,10,10,8 longer rest period then 10

Tri’s were looking BA if I do say so myself… Pretty much looked exactly like Phil Heaths arms lolol. had a pretty legit upper body pump going and was sweating like crazy (the 97 degree weather today made sure of that)

You doing any grip work to get prepared for your PR attempt at deadlift? I’ve recently incorporated Kroc Rows as a finisher after chinups are done and two days later I still have a deep burn in my forearms. If you were looking for something.

I used to tear.it.up! after debacucherous weekends! What with my muscles chock full of all that wonderful booze and late night munchies infused glycogen…mmm…I could last for hours on that shiz. But then I would make sure I was either DLing or playing a soccer match - for some reason squatting and upperbody never bodes well when I’m a bloated fatty. Who knows why…

scj- I havent done any dedicated grip work… just eliminating straps. Thats been my go to move.

Ok so today’s been a pretty good day so far. Good MDD eats but I’m feeling a little es sleeeeeeepies so i’ll have to rally for the gym. Jet lag be damned.

the pic above is my pre workout meal. It was absolutely amazing! The avocado was an incredible addition IMO. Gonna keep them in fa show. I picked up some wild caught salmon fillets to grill up tonight… cant wait

well thats basically the exact opposite of my trip to the gym today. planned on going at 6 but ended up working on wedding stuff, falling asleep (damn jet lag), waking up at 9 and going straight to the gym. Sucked so I just got in and out pretty quick

375 x 7 (felt weak. hands are destroyed. 7 is ok but they all felt like grinders after the 3rd rep)

changed up my leg stuff for today for time constraints
Leg Curl, single leg supersetted with Leg extensions 4 x 10

EZ Preacher Curl supersetted with hanging toes to bars (working grip too) 4 x 10

done.

super smoked at this point. Quick workout cause of sleeping so late. probably wont be able to fall asleep now. sucks. here’s a pic (also my new avi for now) from post workout. definitely need to get on my cardio/clean up my diet. arms look pretty decent IMO
