Dude, I just joined the student rec center gym thingy, and there’s a full track, swimming poolz, bball courts, raquetball, stadium w/ bleachers…so many HIIT cardio ideas! YES. Probably going to do some bleachers for GPP tomorrow, maybe a swim later. That’s sandwiched between a FUCK TON of reading.

Sprinting didn’t bother the knee afterward?

I find sprinting kills my appetite too. Normally helps if I have a 10 min lie down with some very cold water to sip.

Hilarious re: the high school girls. HAH! My guy came in the other day complaining that HS girls were hitting on him when he was training at the local park - said they made him cut his training short b/c they were chatting him up and he felt uncomfortable. Girls will be girls. I would’ve done the same at 15, probably would do the same at 31. Lecherous hussies! Giddy up!

MiM- it didnt bother me knee at all! Whenever I wear that sleeve my knee feels perfect. That knee sleeve was one of the best purchases I’ve ever made TBH. Sprinting is so much fun :slight_smile:

Masch- Welcome back little lady. The glutes were definitely “en Fuego” as they say. I had done squats/legs the night before so they were feeling it for sure. When (the guys hasnt signed the contract yet) my girls firm gets the contract and her designs are actually out in production I’ll let you guys know what it is. That way if there is one close you can pop in and check it out. Theres one down here in SD already but I havent been yet. I’m looking forward to checking it out. :slight_smile:

Soooooooooo this was a weird weekend. My fiance is out of tow so it was a guys weekend. I spent all night friday studying/taking a few online quizzes for my class. Then on saturday morning my buddy called me up to go to the beach. We ended up spending about 6 hours at the beach out in La Jolla. It was perfect outside. 82, sunny and not a cloud in the sky. We ended up bringing some beers to the beach and hung out with a big group of people… (PIC FROM THE BEACH)

That turned into us having a BBQ at his house, more beers, watching the chargers game, kings cup, me eating 6 sliders (1.25lbs of beef lol) and then going out to The Shack and playing flippy cup until 2 in the morning. ughhhhh long day!

so today I was DEFINITELY in need of a good sweat to get those beers out of me. Luckily I ate so many burgers and tater tots that I couldnt fit a ton of alcohol in my stomach :slight_smile: This is what I did for my workout

1 mile run: Sub 8 minute mile

100 jumps
10 burpees
100 jumps

the jumps and burpees were done for time. finished them in 8:21… Burpees are SOOOOO much harder with the vest on! My abs were/are absolutely killing me! I knew I shouldnt have done the ab wheel the other day. Now I remember why I dont ever do abs :stuck_out_tongue:

Gonna dominate some eggs and Ezek bread. Time to get back on the wagon folks
