elmore- Thanks bud. I posted my general training philosophy earlier in my log… on page 3 or 4 I think? I can repost it here if you like… let me know if you cant find it. Pretty much I like to lift heavy, look good and be athletic. I dont see the point of being crazy strong but not looking good and getting winded walking up a hill. I like to play lots of rec sports (basketball, football, volleyball whatever) and like to be in shape. If you lose all your athleticism just for size or numbers then whats the point ya know? thats it in a nutshell ![]()
Matty- Thanks big man. I like to think that I would have got that last rep cleanly as well. I dont really have any idea what my bench will/could be but I’m hoping for 300+ The whole pausing on your chest thing has got me nervous lol Dude, you should totally do a meet. I’m doing it for the competition but I’m already super into it. It definitely has me training harder than before. You always train harder when you’re training for something right?
