Congrats on the good news man! I’d have to say steaks, but I’ve never tried good sushi. I’ve only had the cheap, terrible stuff from chinese buffets. Not a fan haha.

Blaze- sushi is good man. I was kinda anti sushi at first but I love it now. I had to try all kinds of food because of my old job so trying new food is kinda my new thing.

Ok so I hit up Henrys and got two 1LB Free Range Grass Feed NY Strip Steaks, organic asparagus and a nice bottle of red wine. Grilled up the steaks using vinaigrette and asparagus using EVOO & fresh garlic… So good! Feeling stuffed now. Yum

Greg, about the baby powder, use it all up your thighs but don’t use the palms of your hands to put it on, or you’ll have to go rinse it all off before you cover them in chalk. Just dump it straight from the bottle onto your legs and either a) use the back of your had to rub it in or b) have someone do it for you (hlss?) focusing on the upper inner thigh :wink:

Sorry I’ll try to be more supportive. I’m pissed you accidentally went over my bodyweight like it’s some easy thing to do. That cleanse set me back nearly 10lbs and the weight isn’t flying back on like I thought it would. Oh well my strength’s not down so I guess I should care more about that than the scale.

Sorry for the hijack, but it was no worse than people talking about beating off with VCO.

Ok so here is a picture of me from this morning. That tiny little bathroom mirror is the only spot that I can get a pic in the house so sorry that it kinda sucks. The light really F’s with the camera cause its right above the mirror… but oh well.

So this is me at (presumably) 216ish? I will weigh in this evening when I get home and hit the gym… but this is what I’m looking like these days. I’d like to tighten up the “love handles” and get rid of that little bit of fat right around the bellybutton.

Don’t you disqualify yourself from the power lifting meet if you have visible abs? Pretty sure any hint of a six pack will invalidate your lifts immediately!

Dude, I toss all my veggies (not salads homo) in VCO… green beans, broccoli, asparagus… I actually like it. I used to use EVOO with some seasoning like salt/red pepper but now it’s just straight VCO.

Bench is looking awesome! This might sound stupid, but what is your general philosophy on training when not prepping for a meet?
