My strength on the close grips was way up this week. I PR’d on the incline at 215 lbs and just missed off my chest at 225. I probably shouldn’t have even tried, but i felt strong tonight and thought I could get it if everything went right. Next time I’m getting it.

Rhythm squats left me exhausted tonight. My reverse lunge felt awful; there was just nothing left in the tank. Only one more week of them though. Also, I got rid of the box for speed squats. My hips and glutes have been so tight and sore that I’m losing some mobility/speed.

Not a bad workout tonight. It was a little different tonight with all the big guys in the gym for the Arnold festivities. My gym doesn’t get too many guys who scream and yell on every rep, but they probably thought I was strange too with my bands and foam roller. Too each his own I guess.

I think I’m going to do a test day this week. my basketball tournament is Saturday and testing won’t wear me down quite like some of the workouts. Also, been playing muchy more basketball, running etc.
